Getting the right height between your hitch and trailer makes a big difference in how smoothly things track down the road. This drawbar is built with a 5" rise so you can level out your trailer and keep sway under control. It fits Class II 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receivers and is set up to be used in the rise position only, giving you a stable and predictable connection every time you tow.
When you’re pulling a small camper, utility trailer, or boat, you want gear that’s tough enough to handle it without flexing or fuss. This ball mount is rated for a 3,500-lb gross towing weight and 350-lb tongue weight. The solid steel shank keeps things sturdy under load, and the CNC-machined welds deliver consistent strength where it counts.
Road grime, water, and salt can chew up metal fast if it’s not protected. This drawbar’s black gloss powder coat finish fights off corrosion so it stays looking clean after long trips or wet conditions. The 7-stage washing process before coating gives it a smooth surface that resists rust and dirt buildup over time.
The mount measures 9-5/8" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole, with 6-1/2" from the pin hole to the closest edge of the ball platform. That extra length gives solid bumper clearance and an easy hookup. It uses a standard 3/4" ball hole and works with a separate hitch pin or lock—just slide it in, secure it, and you’re ready to tow.

The tow hitch on my daily driver (Kia Soul) is much lower than our other tow vehicle (1926 model T) Using this hitch allows us to tow with the trailer near level. Only important because it's a super light weight teardrop. It is not set up with a landing leg or levelers. So the trailer can only be used when hitched to a vehicle. It's two pieces of steel welded together with two holes drilled in it. As long as it doesn't fall apart it's excellent.

Was expecting the pin also but that is okay other than that the shipping time was about 5 days. Glad I got the hitch bar that I needed for my car

Live in Florida and with all the salt in the air, the hitch still looks good after a year.
I'm so very glad I found etrailer, I purchased this hitch and a ball mount and was easily able to have it installed onto the car without the need to trim my vehicle's heat-shield. It looks as great as it is functional and adds a good bit of versatility to the vehicle as well as a nice cosmetic look when not in use. The hitch tucks nicely under the vehicle and supports weight well. I drive a Fiesta ST with already low clearance on the suspension, but am still able to tow a small trailer which is really nice to be able to do with a smaller vehicle. Excellent product and e-trailer was great to work with an answered any questions I had!
Great ball mount. Etrailer was/is the only company to have this enlongated ball mount. This is a perfect fix for trailer I will be pulling

I ordered the ball mount to fit my trailer under construction that was changed to an off-road axle option to keep the construction of the trailer moving forward. E-trailer website provides all the information one needs to correctly determine the correct rise or fall of ball mounts and has a wide selection to choose from. This ball mount will fit my trailer and tow-vehicle requirements.

The ball mount is the correct size and rise for my trailer. The etrailer videos helped me calculate the correct size and rise for my trailer.
Ordered this product for my 2015 Rav 4 and it has worked perfectly. I tow a trailer about 4 times a week and needed a hitch that would step the ball up to make the trailer level and allow the wheel to be lowered without manually lifting the trailer myself.
Product came quickly and was advertised. Would order again if I needed one for another vehicle.

I just want to say buy from Etrailer products an customers service is out standing I ordered the wrong ball for this set up they sent me an email stating so I said to send me the right one at what ever the cost they fixed the problem nothing extra an as u can see perfect fit. Thanks you Etrailer
Fantastic product, Works great for the 2001 Oldsmobile Siloute Mini Van that I recently purchased. I had a class II hitch already installed by previous owner and I was not sure if it was a class I or class II and etrailer explained that a class I will have a restriction inside of the 1 1/4 inch square opening that prevents a class II from being inserted. That was helpful to get the correct hitch ordered. After that advice I could tell this is the one that would match what I had.Thanks etrailer! FAST SHIP ALSO.

I have used this for a Year now.I am as pleased now as I was when I first received it. It has worked great for towing my boat as well as for towing a utility trailer. Due to the fact that my van sits so low to the ground, this 6inch uplifted shape is perfect. Would recommend to anyone that has a need for this type of hitch.

The 5" rise works very well on an '07 Subaru Forester to level out a utility trailer with 12" wheels. Shipping was prompt as well.
This is used on my John Deere X739 to primarily move trailers and my Waverunner around. No complaints.

The 5 inch rise on this hitch ball mount was perfect for my 07 Toyota Rav4. The rear door opens to the side on this year Rav4 and it has plenty of clearance. I tow a 16 ft aluminium boat and this 5 inch rise ball mount works perfectly on the Rav.
I needed a ball mount that boosted the level of my new rafting trailer. UHaul sold me one with a 3" lift that wasn't enough, and then wouldn't let me return the hitch once it had been used for a short drive to pick up my trailer. etrailer has lots and lots of ball mounts and I initially ordered one that didn't allow enough space between the ball and my Subaru bumper. Mike, from etrailer, went out to the warehouse, measured the ball mounts and sent me a photo with the exact measurements. I am so grateful for this great customer service and now have exactly what I need.

The drawbar has worked great. Ive hauled my bike to Florida and back and other places with no problems.
The trailer hitch works great, it allows me to tow my 4' X 8' Trailer behind my Auto without bottoming out like my old straight hitch setup used to do. I feel very satisfied with the product, the hitch and ball where both in great condition and installed the way they were designed to.
Purchased for a Hyundai Elantra. After a 2" ball is mounted, there is about 7.5" from the top of the square shaft to the top of the ball. This is what was needed to get the center of the ball 18" off the ground for most U-hual trailers.
This design has no plate edge protruding below the square shaft. This helps reduce scraping when going over bumps, which is an annoying issue with my other ball mount.
I would have much preferred the euro ball mount, which has a nice 45' bend to avoid scraping, and a ball that will never vibrate loose, but one was not offered with this much rise.
The ball mount is well made of solid steel, not a hollow tube. Finish quality is excellent.
The mount does not come with the locking pin needed and so that must be ordered separately with the ball.
Item was packed a little loose in the box and was clanking around with the other item I bought, but they did not get scratched up.
Great product, fast shipping, great customer service, fixed my problem I just wish I ordered it sooner! 4/5 stars because the male piece could have provided a snugger fit inside the hitch, but hey it will get the job done.

I am an infrequent trailer user, but getting my daughter home from college was necessary in March. This drawbar fits my hitch and utility trailer well, did exactly what it is supposed to do, and was the last thing to be concerned about right then. I have a '11 Mini Countryman S with a Class II receiver from Mini Fini, (which cost twice as much as a Curt) where the hole is flush with the fake grille near the bottom of the bumper cover, so I needed the long bar to reach out past the bumper. The Curt receiver for that car hangs visible underneath the bumper (ugly), which also increases the lever arm on the receiver beam and would have needed an even taller rise. (Curt take note!) All just part of the kit to create an occasional 1 ton pickup out of my Mini, leaving the "bed" at home most of the time.
