How much ground clearance is there from the installed hitch? Does the receiver opening end past the rear bumper, and if not, how far out does the ball receiver have to extend to clear the rear bumper?

I just spoke with my rep at Draw-Tite the bottom of the 1 1/4" receiver for the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" item # DT74MR sits 5 1/2" off of the ground. I have attached a picture of the hitch installed on a Hyundai Sonata. The receiver extends to the trim but not past the bumper. I recommend using the Curt Class II Drawbar - 5" Rise - 9-5/8" Long item # C45014 to make sure you have enough clearance to get past your Sonata's bumper. If you need a hitch ball, we have a 2" ball item # C40018 and a 1 7/8" ball item # C40001.
