Hello everybody, this is Jeff @etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this bearing kit for 5,200 pound axles with the 2.250 spindles. Now a 5,200 pound axle can come in two different applications. One will have a 2.125 inch grease seal, and the other will have a 2.250 grease seal. Basically the bearings will be all the same. The only difference is gonna be the grease seal itself.
So the correct bearing kit for your 5,200 pound axle will be determined by that inner diameter needed for your grease seal. This kit here is for the 5,200 pound axle that has the 2.250 inch diameter grease seal. Now if you do need the other kit that'll fit the smaller 2.125 inch diameter axle, we do sell that also. It's sold separately, part number BK3-310. What's nice with a kit like this, there's no need to have to search for separate components.
Just use this all inclusive bearing kit and we'll include everything laid out here on the table. It's gonna include one inner bearing and the bearing brace that it sits in, also includes one outer bearing and the bearing brace for that one to sit into. Comes with the double lip grease seal we mentioned. Does have the double lip design and it is the size 2.250 and it comes with the cotter pin. Good product E Trailer took care of my needs
The wheel bearing set looks good, and fits my old 5200# 6-lug axles. In my case of rebuilding an old 1970’s EZ Loader boat trailer, the grease seal in the bearing kit wasn’t the correct size, but the bearings are the proper size.
product outer bearing did not fit my wheel hub. Had to return and opt for the Dexter Hub bearing kit.

Hopefully I'll never have to use them. I purchased these to carry on my trips incase I lose a bearing on my travel trailer. These bearings are made in China but a 3rd of the cost of Timken bearings. Not sure why these are packed dry. They should have some type of rust preventative on them. They will rust over time if not greased.
It took two phone calls to get the right axle bearings. Rachel wasn't real sure on what bearings I needed even with the axle number and weight. Finally on the second call she said, "oh I found it".
I ordered wheel bearing kits for my 2019 cougar in one of the kits I received the wrong bearing I got 14125A I needed 67048
I had to stop everything I needed then run to the next town over to get the right bearing extremely disappointed
Parts arrived and they are correct. Although they took a week to get here. Not because of E trailer but because the US Postal Service is horrible. I'd always recommend paying extra for the shipping since the post office can take up to 14 days. When I called E trailer the representative was awesome and offered to expedite another bearing kit if they didn't arrive by the following Monday. I was only ordering the bearing kit as a backup for an upcoming trip so the delay caused entirely but the US postal service wasn't a huge deal since I did receive them before I headed out. I've previously purchased a hitch from eTrailer and it was shipped FedEx and arrived within a few days. The bearing kit I received was exactly as advertised and a decent value. I'll definitely use eTrailer again and would definitely recommend them to friends.
