Question:

Hi looking for replacement bearings and seals for Dexter 5200 axles. Bearing part K71-307-00 and K71-308-00. Seals K71-305-00.

Hi Craig; thank you for providing those part numbers. That is the 2.25" inner diameter grease seal so for replacement bearings you can use the Bearing Kit, LM67048/25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal # BK3-300 you were looking at. If you prefer Timken bearings we also have the # TMK72VR.

What kind of trailer do you have?

Hello. Is the Timken bearing set much better than the BK3-300 set?

@Matt in my opinion bearings are bearings and you aren't going to see a difference between the two. Maybe 20 years ago there would have been a big quality difference but most of that has gone away. If you're concerned over Chinese vs US made then the Timken bearings are made in the USA. Both are likely to last just as long as the other.
