Replacement Bearing Kit for a 2010 Forest River Sabre 28RETS 5th Wheel

Updated 11/04/2025 | Published 10/02/2025

Question:

I have a 2010 28RETS Sabre fifth wheel axle LCI52-SB-85-68.5-NOSP-OS-SBS-655-1/2-7225-30PT The wheel bearings have decided to retire. A local dealer called Lippert and was told nothing was available but, they could use my axle number to build me 2 new axles. Thank you for your time

Hey John!

The LCI52 part of the axle ID means you have a 5,200 lb axle. There's no way it has super special bearings so you likely need one of the following kits (the only difference is the grease seal ID size):

- Bearing Kit # BK3-310 (2.125" Seal ID)
- Bearing Kit # BK3-300 (2.250" Seal ID)

Just verify which seal ID your spindle uses and you'll be good to go with one of these bearing kits!

Hey John, did one of those bearing kits end up working for your Sabre’s 5,200 lb axle? Knowing which seal ID matched could really help others trying to replace their wheel bearings too.
