An Enclosed Trailer Ramp Spring, like part # 362SA4, can be cut down to fit 23-3/4" to 43-3/8" doors. Ramp Spring # 362SA5 can fit 31-5/8" to 55-1/2" inch doors. They are customizable to fit the space available in your trailer as well as the door size so for your door I recommend # 362SA5. Would Replacing Ramp Spring of Horse Trailer Make Ramp Feel Lighter
If you replaced the springs on your ramp door with the # RS16933RH it would definitely make the door seem lighter. If the shaft diameter that you current spring is installed on is 1-1/2 inch in diameter this would fit and work well. The matching left hand side is # RS16933LH. For your 85 lb ramp we have the Single Spring # 362SA5 that fits a 5' wide enclosed trailer. Aside from that I recommend choosing your door width and then a spring weight rating similar to how heavy a door you have from our linked selection.
