Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Polar Hardware hinge. This hinge is ideal for use on refrigerated vehicles and trailers. It does feature a reversible pen design which allows the hinge to be used on left hand or right hand doors. Also, it features the nylon bushings and thrust barrings to help the hinge operate seamlessly. And we're looking at a nice durable stainless steel construction to resist rust and corrosion.It does feature the counter sunk holes so those are designed for number 10 oval head screws, which are not included. I did take a measurement of the overall length, so I laid it flat like this and measured edge to edge.

And I'm going to flip it over, so I can get the flat measurement on my ruler. And I got a measurement, around 10 and a half inches long, overall length. Now the bracket, which is this compartment right here, edge to edge, going in this direction, you can see that measures, four and one eighth. Edge to edge going this direction, gives a measurement of about two and a half inches.And then when it comes to our hole separation, these holes at the bottom, are separated on center by, it's really like two and one eighth to two and three sixteenths. These holes are all separated on center by one and five eighths.

So, outer to outer is three and one quarter. And then from the center of these holes to the center of these holes, is one and five eighths.The strap itself, from the center of the pin to the end of the strap, measures about nine and one eighth inches long. At the widest point, it measures about two and 11/16 of an inch wide. These mount holes right here, are separated on center by one and seven eighths. And then from this set of holes to this hole on center, is two and three eighths.

And then from this one to this one, on center, is three and five eighths.That's going to do it for today's look at the Polar Hardware hinge.
