Question:
I have a 2021 look element trailer. I want to add two things. The first is a tow hitch underneath the rear of the trailer. It only has to be able to tow 400 pounds. The second thing is that I was wondering if I can buy gas shocks for my rear door so that it is easier to get up and down?

To install a hitch, you'll want to go with an adjustable width RV hitch, the correct part will depend on how far apart your frame members are.
• For an 18-51 inch frame spread, use # C13701
• For a 22-66 inch spread, use # C13704
From what I saw on the manufacturer's website, it looks like your trailer has a ramp door. We don't offer a shock absorber-type system for that, typically a garage door style torsion spring is used. The exact setup needed will depend on the inside width of the trailer.
• For a 5 foot width, use # 362SA5
• For a 6 foot width, use # M364FR
It is recommended that only individuals who have experience winding torsion springs install these products. If you have not worked with a torsion spring system before, we recommend contacting a local garage door company to install this system.
