Question:
The ramp on my trailer is too heavy for me. I wonder if replacing the springs which add absolutely no resistance vale will help. I don’t believe they are made anymore. Thoughts?

If you replaced the springs on your ramp door with the # RS16933RH it would definitely make the door seem lighter. If the shaft diameter that you current spring is installed on is 1-1/2 inch in diameter this would fit and work well. The matching left hand side is # RS16933LH.
We also have spring assemblies that mount up high and use a cable and torsion spring to make the lifting easier like with part # 362SA5 which is for 5 foot wide ramps.
