Can I Use the Conventional Ramp Door Spring on a Trailer that Doesn't Have a Spring?

Question:
Can this product work on and avenger 5x12 enclosed trailer that never had spring assist? Or does the trailer have to have spring assist to be able to install one. My trailer is a manual put up and down.

Yes, it will. You can add the Conventional Ramp Door Spring for 5' Wide Enclosed Trailer item # 362SA5 to your enclosed trailer even though it didn't come with one. This fits a 32" to 56" wide trailer door. It measures 56" wide x 4-7/8" tall x 7-1/2" deep and has a 85 lbs capacity.
