Some drain tailpieces glue instead of threading, so have ABS/PVC cement ready. If the new sink is deeper than the old one, plan for a bit of extra plumbing work to hook it up. If you're unsure whether the tailpiece threads on, test-fit first; if it doesn't thread, use cement per the pipe materials and let it cure before running water.
