This sink has a top-mounted, drop-in design. Drop-in (or self-rimming) sinks are generally quicker and easier to install than undermount sinks, and they can be installed into any countertop material. They also have a lip on the perimeter, so that once the sink is installed, the weight of the sink and its contents are transferred over to the surrounding countertop. This better supports and secures the sink, whereas undermount sinks might fall if not installed properly. In addition, because all parts of drop-in sinks are visible, they are incredibly easy to clean.
This sink replaces or upgrades your existing bathroom sink. If not replacing an existing sink, a hole 1/4" smaller than the overall length and width of the sink must be cut in the counter top. Once the hole has been made, the sink just drops into place. Brackets and hardware are included to secure the sink to the counter. The use of silicone sealant (sold separately) is recommended.

Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the LaSalle Bristol single bowl sink for your RV bathrooms. So this is going to be a replacement for your existing bathroom sink. Maybe yours has gotten damaged, or it's just kind of gotten old and crusty and needed a new update. So this will allow us to replace that out, get a new, fresh one in its place so we can wash our hands and do all the things we need to do in the bathroom. It's a polypropylene construction, which is just a type of plastic.
It's used in a lot of different things. One of the reasons why it's used is because it's really good at resisting fatigue from a constant use. So when you're out on the road, dealing with a lot of vibrations and things like that, they're going to be in and out, maybe bumping into it, so this should be able to withstand all the shocks and trials and tribulations of being out on the road and dealing with that. It's kind of an off-white color. It's parchment color, which kind of looks like an egg white, cream color to me, so should match a lot of different fixtures out there. It has the three-hole design at the top, so you can use the dual handle faucets.
We have a lot of options available here at etrailer.com if you want to update that hardware as well. Feel free to do so. Or you can always reuse what you already have.Something that I like about this sink in particular is that it has these little grooves at the top for where you put your soaps that you use bar soap, it kind of keeps that elevated so it's not just sitting in water all the time, and just gives a place for things to rest.As far as measurements, the outer edges will measure 20 inches wide, and then 16 inches front to back, and six and a half inches deep. The inner dimensions.. So with the actual cutout, that's going to be about 16 inches across by 11 and an eighth.
And then again, six and a half inches deep.It does come with hardware to get this in place. So it's just going to be these little tabs and screws that are going to match up with the posts around your sink at the bottom. Might be kind of hard to see those, but that's just going to help to sandwich it against your countertop to hold that in place. Might not be a bad idea to get some sealant to go around the outside, either silicone or something to seal up that gap. We do have silicone sealant here at etrailer.com.
You can get that in white or black, I believe, so that might be something that you want to look into.As far as the openings for our faucet. These are each going to have a diameter of one and a quarter inch. And the two far holes are separated by four inches center to center. Our drain hole has a diameter of one and five eighths inches. This is covered by a one-year warranty from LaSalle Bristol. It's made in the U.S.A. and should be straightforward to get installed. Hopefully I've answered all of your questions as far as how this is going to work and what it's going to look like in your RV. But if this doesn't quite work for you, we do have a lot of other options available for sinks for the bathroom in your RV. So check those out and hopefully we'll get you rolling with something nice and shiny and new. Thanks for watching..
