LaSalle Bristol Bathroom Sink Dimensional Diagram

Drop-In Design

This sink has a top-mounted, drop-in design. Drop-in (or self-rimming) sinks are generally quicker and easier to install than undermount sinks, and they can be installed into any countertop material. They also have a lip on the perimeter, so that once the sink is installed, the weight of the sink and its contents are transferred over to the surrounding countertop. This better supports and secures the sink, whereas undermount sinks might fall if not installed properly. In addition, because all parts of drop-in sinks are visible, they are incredibly easy to clean.

Installation

This sink replaces or upgrades your existing bathroom sink. If not replacing an existing sink, a hole 1/4" smaller than the overall length and width of the sink must be cut in the counter top. Once the hole has been made, the sink just drops into place. Brackets and hardware are included to secure the sink to the counter. The use of silicone sealant (sold separately) is recommended.

Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the LaSalle Bristol Single Bowl RV Bathroom Sink

Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the LaSalle, Bristol 17 by 20 Oval Lavatory Sink. And this is going to be a replacement or upgrade for your bathroom sink in your RV so you can do all your hand washing and everything in a nice oval style basin. Now, you might be looking around our site and seeing that there's another sink that's exactly like this one and wondering what the difference is between the two of them. This one is made of ABS plastic, so it's going to be a more sturdy plastic. And if I grabbed the other one, that's a twin to this. This is going to be the other one that's made of just a regular poly plastic.

Zoom it out a little bit so you can see the difference. You can kind of see a little bit of a color difference, it's pretty subtle, and it might not quite show up on my camera, but this one is more kind of pure white and this one is kind of a softer, almost cream or off-white color. If you tap on the main you kind of hear the difference in the construction, this one just seems more solid, has kind of more of a resonance. This one just seems more dull. This one will do just fine. But I noticed that when I pulled this one out, it already has a little bit of scuffing up here from where the hardware came in contact with it.

I think this one is just going to be less durable to any kind of abrasions and scuffs. Whereas, this one is going to be a little bit more durable. It's going to be able to better withstand any kind of impact scratches and scuffs and things like that.Other than that, they're exactly the same, same measurements, same size, same everything. It's really just a matter of the construction and one lasting, maybe a little bit longer than the other. Now that we've looked at those, let's go over those measurements, zoom back in here, so you can take a look.

As I mentioned, it's going to be 20 inches wide, that's from the outermost edge to outermost edge, side to side, and then front to back, same thing, 17 inches from the outermost edge to outermost edge. Our usable space inside that sink is about ten and three quarter inches by about 15 inches. The depth of our sink is going to be about six inches going from the bottom of that drain hole to this top lip here, we might be able to get all those seven inches, but I'd say six is about the amount of usable space before you'd have an overflow situation since there is no overflow in here, you'd want to be careful about that. As far as our holes for a faucet, we'll have three up here at the top, and those are going to have a diameter of one and a quarter inch each. And then those are each spaced apart by two inches. Between these two can be two inches, two inches here, four inches between the outermost holes. Our drain hole is going to have a one and five eighths inch diameter.

And if you need to pick up a faucet or a drain spout or drain tube for your sink, you can also find those right here at etrailer.com and several different styles and colors and all kinds of stuff. Another thing that I would suggest getting would be maybe some silicone sealant to go around the outside of your sink and also probably around your faucet as well. We have a couple of options, we have silicone sealant, looks like it just as a tube that goes in a caulk gun.We also have some that's actually meant for a roof membrane, but you can use it for this as well. You just want to make sure that you get the No Sag Universal adherence one, and that'll pretty much adhere to just about any material and give you that same effect. It's really durable and weatherproof, so it should work out well in a laboratory situation as well. But that's going to do it for our look at the LaSalle, Bristol 17 by 20 oval lavatory sink and white with an ABS plastic construction..

I wish this sink was in the original installation! It is strong, thick ABS/plastic. It installed with some minor fitting where the original sink was and I was able to use the original drain, drain pipe and P-trap. Very happy with this purchase.

Working great for a sink. Hasnt succumbed to hard traveled rough roads or cleaning.

This sink is a major improvement over the orignal plastic sink in our travel trailer. The ABS La Salle sink is stronger. My Husband was able to modify the vanity to accept this sink and new faucet. It is a great improvement.

Quick shipping, have not installed sink yet... Just got it, but it looks great!!

Great company will use again and again and again

by:

The sink worked out very well with very little remodeling on the cabinet where it was installed.

I purchased the 20x17 Bristol sink and installed it in my RV. When I went to tighten the drain down it cracked my drain pipe because the flange was not level and there was a piece of plastic that made the jam nut notscrew on level. I cut the plastic burr off in hopes to not have to take the new sink out but the flange was still not right. I was told by etrailer because I installed the sink and cut off the plastic burr I was not due a refund and could not get a new sink or any help from them. I had pictures of the issue before i cut off the plastic burr and still no help from etrailer. Very disappointed. Make sure your sink drain is right before installing it!

Sink arrived quickly and fit perfectly. It didn't come with instructions on how to install but that is the company's mistake not ETRAILER's.
ETRAILER has good prices, ships items quickly, and so easy to place orders online. And it is always a great selling point for buyers to have the option of free shipping on orders over a certain dollar amount ($ amount that isn't unreasonable)~!!!!

by:

Very good quality and fit. Would definitely order it again. Emily was very helpful in placing the order. Great company!!

  • Determining The Correct Replacement RV Sink For A 2021 Forest River Sabre 37BHT
There isn't a guide that lists the parts used on trailers so the only way to determine the best replacement bathroom sink for your 2021 Forest River Sabre 37BHT would be to measure the cutout hole in the counter and find a match. The LaSalle Bristol Single Bowl RV Bathroom Sink # 34416305PWA you were looking at has mounting points 1/4" from the edge so you'd need a 19-1/2" wide x 16-1/2" deep cutout hole in order for this sink to fit. if you can get me the dimensions of your cutout hole...

  • Difference Between LaSalle Bristol 34416305PWA and 34416370PWA Sinks
According to my contact at LaSalle Bristol, there is no significant difference between the 17" x 20" Oval Lavatory Sink # 34416305PWA and the 17" x 20" Oval Lavatory Sink # 34416370PWA. It appears the brackets included with 34416305PWA are more of a true white versus the cream/bone colored ones included with 34416370PW. Also, I confirmed the construction of both of these sinks is ABS plastic as shown in the snips from the manufacturer's catalog I have attached.
