Really appreciate your response. Prior to your email- I was thinking of going with the below option due to high reviews and low cost. Would this be compatible with Honda CR-V 2021 sport and fit the criteria you mentioned? Kindly let me know which option is better.

The best trailer hitch receiver for your 2021 Honda CR-V (which fits all models, including your Sport), is the following:

- Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT79MR

There's a couple of reasons for that, starting with the fact it has excellent clearances; when we test fit this hitch on a 2021 CR-V, we found it was 11-3/4 inches from the ground to the bottom of the receiver, and 2-1/2 inches from the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper.

Another important reason is that this is the only hitch that is compatible with the Hands-Free Liftgate Sensor on your CR-V, while all other hitches will either limit its use or require a relocation kit you have to get from Honda. Another reason I like the hitch is because it has a concealed crosstube so only the receiver is visible, which means it will have the best aesthetic.

So for those reasons, to carry a bike rack like the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 # SH22G or something similar, there really is no better option than the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT79MR.

So long as your 2021 Honda CR-V Sport is not a hybrid, you can use the other hitch you mentioned: - Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76128. There are some differences to keep in mind which I'll go over, but it is certainly a viable option. The differences being that the # 76128 will have slightly less bumper and ground clearance (about 1/2 inch for both), could interfere with the Hands-Free Liftgate, and has a visible crosstube so the entire hitch will show. If you don't mind those differences, the # 76128 is a fine option that will do the job. You did ask for which option is better though, and truly the best overall package for your 2021 Honda CR-V, from performance to appearance is the previous hitch I mentioned, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT79MR.
