Is there any way to shorten the length of the pendant tube? I like the light but need it no longer than 15”.

I do have a solution for you, but there is not really simple way to shorten the stem on the Gustafson RV LED Pendant Light # 277-000467-431.

For a very similar light, you can use the Gustafson RV LED Ceiling Light # 277-000469 which can then be paired up with the Clear Seeded Glass Shade # 277-000431. This light has a length of 8-1/2 inches; the shade will add another inch to inch and a half to the overall length, which will work well in your space.
