How much more ground clearance would one get with the hidden hitch 76342 than the 76128?

If you were to install both the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT79MR (76342) and # 76128 on your 2022 Honda CR-V you'd find that the DT79MR is going to sit about 1/2" higher so these are relatively at the same height.

With that being said, the DT79MR also has the hidden crosstube so you only have that little bit of space being filled under your CR-V as opposed to all of the crossbar like what we see with the 76128. Because of this, and that the hidden crosstube looks cleaner, I recommend the # DT79MR.
