This sink has a top-mounted, drop-in design. Drop-in (or self-rimming) sinks are generally quicker and easier to install than undermount sinks, and they can be installed into any countertop material. They also have a lip on the perimeter, so that once the sink is installed, the weight of the sink and its contents are transferred over to the surrounding countertop. This better supports and secures the sink, whereas undermount sinks might fall if not installed properly. In addition, because all parts of drop-in sinks are visible, they are incredibly easy to clean.
This sink replaces or upgrades your existing bathroom sink. If not replacing an existing sink, a hole 1/4" smaller than the overall length and width of the sink must be cut in the counter top. Once the hole has been made, the sink just drops into place. Brackets and hardware are included to secure the sink to the counter. The use of silicone sealant (sold separately) is recommended.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a rectangular lavatory sink. This unit replaces or upgrades your RV's bathroom sink. It's constructed of a durable ABS plastic construction and it does feature a rectangular shape and it's parchment in color. It does come with the actual sink. It comes with a down tube, the drain plug, and installation clips and hardware.Now when it comes to the overall dimensions, edge to edge going this direction, it measures about 14 and 3/4 inches. So we can put a tape measure on that and show you where we get that measurement.
About 14 and 3/4. Going this direction, very front to very back is about 12 and 1/4 inches.Now the instructions indicate that if you're cutting a new hole for this unit, you'd flip it upside down like this on the surface and you would trace a line around the outside of the sink and then measure a quarter of an inch in from that line all the way around to make your cuts. So side to side your cut lines, or the hole, would measure 14 and a half inches. Front to back, your hole would measure 12 inches.The sink opening. That's this area right here, the bowl.
You see how it kind of tapers in. So I measured from this point here to this point here, got a measurement of 13 and 1/8th inches. Front to back, measured around 8 and 5/8th inches.The tube that it comes with attaches to that portion right there. The tube has an inner diameter of one inch with an outer diameter of an inch and a quarter. And then again, it does come with the drain plug, which will go directly in that portion of the sink.These holes right here, these are all separated on two inch centers.
So from this one to this one is two inches. And then the outer holes are separated on center by four inches.The product is also made in the USA and the instructions for installation are located directly on the sink itself.That's going to do it for today's look at the rectangular lavatory sink.
