Today we're going to be reviewing part number DW04914-1. This is the Deka Wire Jacketed 7-Cabled Wire. This product is going to be sold by the foot, so however many feet you need just enter that number into the quantity box. This is going to work great for many applications whether you are rewiring a trailer, adding a junction box, or making your own plug. This is manufactured to SAE and ATA specifications. It meets SAE J1128 specifications for use with 50 volts or less. It's going to be the multi-conductor stranded copper wire design. It's going to maintain its flexibility no matter what weather condition you're in.
It's going to stand up well against the elements and give you the flexibility that you need. I did splice off the end here. That way we can see the exposed wires. You can see that they're going to be color coded. You're going to have 7 wires. The entire cable is going to be enclosed in a black vinyl jacket.
That's going to reduce road hazards. It's going to keep the wires protected from any type of damage. Each conductor itself is going to be insulated with a heavy vinyl covering. Six out of the 7 wires are going to be gauge 12; the white wire is going to be gauge 10. This product's made in the USA. That's going to do it for our review of part number DW04914-1.
