Question:
Hi there - I’m looking for an 8ft length 7 pin trailer plug, but I don’t want a molded plug, I want one that comes apart. Do you carry something like that where cable is included, or would my best bet be to buy the plug and cable separately? I currently have a molded connector and it’s bad but hard to diagnose exactly where the connection is bad without being able to take the plug apart

Hi Andrew,
You can get just jacketed 7-wire by the foot with part the Deka Wire # DW04914-1 and then pick up a connector like the # PK12706 you were looking at. The 8' length options we offer with the connector are all molded, meaning that you can't disconnect the connector and rewire it or troubleshoot so I wouldn't recommend those.
