Hey Steven, I can help with that!
The first thing will be to confirm that your trailer has a brake flange welded to the axle at the base of the spindle. If not, you will need to have an axle shop add them, or you can replace your axle with one that is brake-ready. If the brake flange is already present, brakes can be added.
From there, we will need to determine your axle weight capacity, and bearing information. The best way to do that is with the casting number from your hub. Idler hubs should have a casting number on the back of the hub. Usually we can use this to determine what size brake assembly you will need, and what hub/drum will fit your axle.
For example, a standard 3,500 lb axle uses the Electric Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-35 which is a 10" diameter brake shoe. This would go with the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K.
From there, you will need to rewire the trailer with a 7-way. I suggest using one with a junction box like part # e99011. We also sell 12 Gauge 7 Conductor Jacketed Wire # DW04914-1 by the foot which you can use to wire your brakes and lights.
Assuming your tow vehicle already has a 7-way, the last thing you will need is an electric brake controller. The Tekonsha P3 # 90195 is what I recommend if you don't already have one.

Hey Steven, were you able to check your Alluma trailer to see if it has the brake flanges on the axle? Once you confirmed that and found the hub casting numbers, did the brake and hub setup come together as expected? Your update could make it easier for others adding electric brakes to a similar trailer.
