Question:
What is the diameter of the mighty cord? I am building a large by off-road camper standards camper and dont want to route my wiring under or in my frame so I am considering a junction box mounted on a flat section of the front wall of the camper with a waterproof entry gland for the 7-pin wiring coming in from the bottom then another gland or sealed entry hole into the camper with a rubber gasket on the back of the junction box. Also whats the minimum bending radius that you can roughly estimate for this cable? That should tell me how large of a box Ill need.

Welcome back, Graham!
We don't have the Mighty Cord 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Connector w/ Molded Cable - Trailer End - 10' Long # A10-7W10 in stock to measure at the moment, but as a comparison, the Deka 12 Gauge 7 Conductor Jacketed Wire - Per Foot # DW04914-1 is going to have an overall diameter of .4 inches. I would assume the Mighty Cord would be right about the same, I just can't say that for sure without having it in hand to measure.
Using the same Deka wiring, the minimum bending radius should be around 3.2" to 4", but take that with a grain of salt. I used the National Electrical Code (NEC) formula for this (diameter x multiplier (multiple-conductor cables without metallic shielding, >1,000V - which they say is 8-10 times the overall cable diameter)). I think this should give you a good idea of how hard you can bend it though.
If you didn't want to wait on the Mighty Cord (I'm not sure when we will be getting it in), you will also want to grab the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector - Trailer End # PK12706 to complete the 7-Way. The etrailer Trailer Wiring Junction Box - 7 Terminal # e99009 is also the junction box I tend to recommend the most. It includes more than other ones do, so I like it.
Sounds like you are making pretty good progress with your build! When are you expecting to take it on its maiden voyage?

Graham, My trailer is stored off sight, so I can't give you an exact measurement. I used this wiring to create my own extention from vehicle to trailer, incorporating the necessary connectors. Everything was well-made, plenty heavy duty for your typical highway towing/hauling and allowed for connections which were weatherproof and secure. I've always had good results with e-trailer products! Brent-Missouri
