If you want to install this booster pump in your RV's fresh water system, you have 2 options. You can submerge the pump in your fresh water tank so it will function as a gravity-fed pump. Or you can install this pump above the tank for use as an inline pump, which will require an inlet hose placed inside the tank. The lightweight construction lets you suspend the pump in the pipework. You can also use an inline setup to pump diesel from a container into your fuel tank, or to empty old fuel from your RV or boat.
To power the pump, just clamp the included cables onto your 12V battery.

Hello neighbors. Today we're looking at the Seaflo Submersible Utility Pump for boats and RVs with a 266 gallon per hour intermittent duty 12 volt power. So folks, this booster pump increases the flow of fresh water, again, 266 gallons per hour. It's an impressive flow rate. And it's going to, again, increase the flow of either fresh water, salt water, or possibly even diesel fuel. So with this, you can easily move water, let's say, from a source into your RV's fresh water tank, you could quickly fill your generator or easily empty a tank of bad fuel, or use it with your bilge pump to remove water from your boat faster.
Now, I shouldn't have to say it, but just in case, keep in mind, only use it for one of those applications, meaning don't use it for fresh water and then use it for bilge, then back to fresh water. And don't use it for diesel, then try to use it for water for anything. So, again, use it for one and keep it in that location or for that primary purpose. Now, getting back to it, the portable design means you can carry it anywhere and use it anywhere. You got two alligator clips here, as I'm calling 'em, one for positive, one for negative, an impressive length of wire, 16 feet.
The pump itself is six and 5/16 inches long by one and 5/8 inch diameter. The max power draw is seven and a half amps, and it can run for 20 minutes. Now it is compatible with 12 volt DC systems, and you can potentially remove the strainer when installing as an inline pump to connect tubing. So this strainer can pop off if you pull it off hard enough, there's another bib inside of there like this, and then you would just connect a hose to that. So you can connect a hose to this side and that side as needed.
Now you can install vertically above the water source to use as an inline pump. If you do that, it would require priming it. Otherwise you submerse it in water to use as a self-priming, gravity fed water supply pump. It is constructed with a nice, lightweight, durable materials, looks like a nice plastic housing, and obviously there's metal parts inside of there with the pump itself and everything. Well, folks, I think that's gonna wrap it up.
Just a quick look at this nice Seaflo Submersible Utility Pumps. I'm Stephen, thanks for watching.

Sometimes the places where we camp the water source doesn't have a connection for our hose so we have to fill a five gallon container and poor the water into our fresh water tank with a funnel. It's very awkward.
Work great together. Big improvement for houseboat
I purchased this pump to transfer water from a jug into our small trailer. A previous pump purchased from [online] lasted about 2 minutes. This pump is more robust and carries a 4 year warranty. Here's hoping it lasts many years.
Perfect !
