Video Transcript for Review of CURT Wiring - 7 Wire Trailer Wiring 250 feet - C76GJ

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our CURT jacketed 7-wire for trailer wiring, 250-foot spool. That's right, folks. So if you need to do a lot of trailer wired installs or a lot of repairs, this is a good investment for you. Instead of buying it by the foot, you can buy it in bulk.

250 foot, this is actually gonna give you a heavy-duty capacity because three of the wires are 12-gauge wires, the white, black, and blue. Those are the ones taking most of the current and going to the main functions on your wiring system. And then you're gonna get four 14-gauge wires, red, green, brown, and yellow. And those are gonna handle the full trailer functions, such as your stop, tail terminals, those kind of things. And everything's been color-coded to meet industry standards so that should simplify your trailer circuit assignments.

Now, as you can see on the back here, it is cut and obviously threaded in there to keep it on the spool. It's kind of hard to see, but all those wires are inside of there. It's an abrasion-resistant jacket. It's also a flexible stranded core, so it's gonna reduce stress while you rotate it through the frames, and route it through the frames, rather. And then that durable outer layer protects against cuts, wears, tears, and those kind of things.

So again, we do carry this by the foot, so if you don't need quite this much, you might be on the wrong page. Look for the one that's by the foot. Otherwise, if you need a bulk spool, again, 250 foot. That's gonna wrap it up, folks. I'm Steven.

Thanks for watching.
