Troubleshooting Running Light Circuit Always Active for 2022 Chevy Tahoe

Question:

trailer lights stay on with all lights turned off on 2022 chevy tahoe have hooked to several different trailers with same results brown wire has constant 12 volts on it

Hey Benny, that is odd but if I had to venture a guess I would say that it's your 12 volt accessory circuit shorting out to the running light circuit. I would check out the backside of the 7-way and look for any cut or exposed wire and fix as needed.

12 volt circuit was shorted to brown running light wire in the trailer control module located under the spare tire on a Chevy Tahoe Replaced trailer control module fixed the problem. Thanks for responding back
