Most horse trailers have a 6-pole trailer connector. In order to attach the 6-pole trailer connector to your vehicle then you will want to use the Hopkins Heavy-Duty, Coiled Trailer Connector Adapter part # HM47083 if the center pin on your vehicle connector is for 12v power or part # HM47085 if the center pin on your vehicle connector is for the brake circuit.

You will need a 7-way connector on your vehicle in order to activate the trailer brakes on your horse trailer. If you do not have a 7-way connector then I would need to know the year, make, and model of your vehicle in order to offer my recommendation.

I was not able to look up your Boss trailer but I can however provide you with a way to determine if the following parts will work for you. In regards to the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly part # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K, as long as you have a 3,500 lb axle that uses an L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) inner bearing and a L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) outer bearing and the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern will fit your wheels then the hub will work well for you. The Hopkins 7-Way RV Style Trailer Connector w/ LED Test Lights part # HM48503 is a 7-way trailer connector end with built in test lights. The connector does not come with the wiring harness therefore you will want to use your existing 7-way harness or wire in a new one using the Deka Wire - Jacketed 7-Wire part # DW04914-1 (sold by the foot). The Replacement Custom Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors part # 30955 is a replacement 7-way trailer connector that is designed to plug into a vehicle that already has either a 7-way in place or the wiring ran for a 7-way. If you do not have a 7-way or the wiring ran then you will want the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7 if your trailer has brakes or the Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole Vehicle End Trailer Connector part # 30717 if your trailer does not have breaks. In order to wire the 7-way trailer connector to your vehicle you will also need a 4-way trailer wiring harness. If you do not have this connector then I would need to know the year, make, and model of your vehicle in order to offer my recommendation. Finally, the Hopkins Wiring Harness with 5-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # HM37918 is a 5-way trailer wiring harness with the following functions: ground, left turn/brake, right turn/brake, tail lights, and reverse light. If you are looking to also attach this connector to the tow vehicle then you will want the Hopkins Wiring Harness with 5-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # HM37908 as this will not work with the 4-way trailer connector on the Replacement Custom Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors part # 30955.
