Wiring a trailer usually means tapping into factory wires, but this harness skips all that. The Curt T-Connector plugs in behind the driver- and passenger-side tail lights to give you a 4-flat connector. No splicing or wire tracing required—just plug it in and you’re ready to tow.
Some vehicles can’t safely power trailer lights directly, which can cause dim or flickering signals. This harness includes a powered converter with a black wire that connects to the battery, giving the trailer lights their own stable power source. That means consistent, bright lighting on every trip.
The harness tucks neatly behind trim panels and uses factory access points for a low-profile finish. Wires stay protected and out of sight, giving your setup a clean look with no dangling cords or exposed splices.
The 4-flat connector provides running lights, brake lights, and turn signals—everything most small trailers need. It’s the standard hookup for campers, boats, and utility trailers, so you’re ready to roll as soon as it’s plugged in.

Fits perfectly on a 2024 sorento x-line Limited with led light Canadian vehicle
It was the rough part for the car sent it back as well
Be careful ordering this. It is not for SX trim models. I called and talked to a salesperson before I ordered this and was still sent the wrong product. I will now Pbly have to pay shipping to return.
This kit was exactly what I needed to get the job done. The only criticism I have is that the manufacturer should extend the length of the green taillight wire because it was very tight in my application. But nonetheless, the install was pretty straightforward and I got it completed in a few hours by myself.
ALL IS GOOD Thanks
Thank you for helping me with my 2024 Kia Sorento X line SX Prestige. I was told by Curt Technicians that they would not have a harass for months after ordering a harness 56474 which shows pictures of plug like my Kia in advertising but when shipped were nothing like the pictures. I called Etrailer and was assured I would get what was picture C63RV. It was as described and it works, Easy plug in, no problems. I am also grateful for the videos on the website, very helpful to let me know what I was getting and tips on how to install.
Plug and play. Zero issues
This did not fit my taillight connectors. I did not have time enough to exchange them before i needed to tow so I ended up cutting the connectors off and splicing the wires. Works great. Too bad I didn't have time to exchange for the kit made for splicing wires and saved a little.
etrailer was excellent to work with. I had to have a harness switched out because manufacturer switched plug ends at some point. Madison understood my issues and made sure I received the correct Curt harness. The Curt harness was perfect and the instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I highly recommend both companies and suggest talking with Madison but I’m confident that anyone you speak to at etrailer will be able to help you.
The description said it would fit my vehicle but it did not. Have to return it and am still waiting to hear back on the return...
This was not made for my 2025 hybrid kia carnival. Doesn’t fit waste of money and time ??????

Unfortunately, this will only fit the non-hybrid versions of 2025 Kia Carnival, Corrie. There isn't a plug an play option for the hybrid models, but we do have the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 that can be used. Would you like to have a return label sent out for the incorrect wiring harness? I can get that moving if so.
It was not the right part I sent it back on ups and it in Jacksonville fl as of now the tracking number is
1Z5DLT290309632020 so this will be delivered back to you as well
My refund will take some time that is two of them I sent back
This harness makes wiring easy. My installer really liked it.
the harness was good.etrailer was poor
Wrong harness for my vehicle

Is your 2026 Kia Sorento a SX or a Hybrid model? If so, you'd need # C34FR73HY instead.
I have a '24 Kia Sorento. I was assisted by a CSR on the phone when I ordered my hitch and wire harness. The harness ordered was incorrect, C99DR per website. Correct harness is C63RV which has the correct connectors. The website is incorrect. I returned the first and had to reorder the correct and paid an additional $16 shipping and had to make another install appointment at an additional cost.
It dose not work with my plugs. Response on the resolution is taking two weeks at this point. Not very happy with support.

The harness you purchased, # C63RV fits all 2026 Kia Sorento models EXCEPT the hybrid or SX model. If you have the hybrid or the SX model, use # C34FR73HY.
etrailer was quick to resolve my issue due to Curt incorrectly showing their 56474/C99DR as being for LED when in fact for the 2024 Kia Sorento X-Pro it is the 56530/C63RV. Following is my original feedback on the 56474/C99DR which helps to explain how I came to this finding.
This post may be long but I wanted to figure out why I ordered the part number that etrailer and Curt shows as the correct T-Connector for our 2024 Sorento X-Pro w/LED (56474/C99DR) yet the T-Connector plugs are different than what is on the car (blue plugs are Curt connectors). First I confirmed our car had LED by the window sticker. Then I pulled the right side tail light and found the KIA part number (RS5600) and validated that number on the KIA parts website. YES, we have LED tail lights. I then went to the Curt website to confirm/validate their info and what part number they show works with the 2024 KIA Sorento LED (non-hybrid) and also confirm the plug configuration that aligned with what our KIA has.
SURPRISE, Curt shows part number 56530 with the same plug configuration that matches what is on our car but also shows it as ‘excluding’ LED, even though our car has LED. They show the 56474 as the part for Sorentos ‘with’ LED. This is what I ordered from etrailer and discovered was wrong for our 2024 Sorento w/LED. As I explained to Lauren at etrailer, I'm pretty OCD and do my due diligence prior to ordering and was positive I ordered what both etrailer and Curt showed as the correct part (C99DR/56474). She also said her system showed 56474 as being the correct part. The only concern I had was even though I confirmed prior to ordering my window sticker showed LED tail lights did I truly have LED, which I confirmed per KIA part number. I ended up having to reorder the correct connector (56530/C63RV) but feel this was NOT my, or etrailer’s, issue but what Curt shows incorrectly and etrailer just passes along. The packaging I received also showed it had obviously been opened and returned, most likely due to the same issue I had; wrong part. So, hopefully this write-up will help someone and also stress you need to pull a tail light and check the plug configuration to ensure you are ordering the correct T-Connector with the same configuration. This was the one step I didn't do and it cost me time and more money since I have to pay for shipping again. Giving one star since I ordered what eTrailer showed would fit and it does not. Now that I have done and documented the issue hopefully eTrailer will fix their website and also inform Curt of the issue.
Overall the product was great and installation fairly easy. If you don’t have a lift you’re going to struggle a little bit with running the power wire underneath. I had to jack it up which isn’t the safest way but allowed be to get under there to zip tie it up. My only real problem was the wire connectors were poor quality. No matter how hard I clamped them the wires to the red fuse line would still pull out.

I've ran into that before as well. The tip is to strip the wire back further, and double the wire back on itself. This increased the diameter of the wire which helps secure it when the butt connector is crimped.
Easy install after watching the Etrailer video.
This is a good "Plug and Play
connection set. I did not realize the need for a power wire to the battery for this to work and had that to add to the work list. I guess I expected a single connection. Having said that I am pleased with how it all went together.
Does NOT fit my 2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid as I was assured it would. I now have to try to source the right one, again, plus return this one for a refund if even possible.

This is a custom fit harness for the 25' Sorentos, the only thing I can think of would be if your vehicle does not have LED tail lights this product will not work for it. It is only intended for vehicles with LED tail lights. I recommend double checking to see if you do or do not have LEDs.
Easy and works perfect for 2025 Kia Sorento S model. Watched wiring video online I recommend the video. It was super easy. I recommend a few water tight heat shrink butt connectors and a couple extra zip ties. Overall a well put together kit.
If there were about 6” more wire on the pigtails going to the lights, I’d give it 5 stars.
There isn’t much room to work under the car already, and having ‘just enough’ wire makes it challenging. Super simple install. Just would prefer a little more play in the wiring.

Works as designed. No issues other than original install issues.
Definitely worth getting the harness with the connectors to the lights. There was plenty of room behind the lights to get the plugs to fit. Some reviews noted not enough wire to reach the passenger side - I had ample wire and had to loop a good 1-2 feet of it up to pick up the slack left behind. I ran the wire to the front as shown in the video on the e-trailer site, but I removed the entire body protector to do so. Didn't get a pic of the box installed unfortunately, but did snap a pic of where I tapped in the power wire. In my opinion this controller is the next best thing to having wiring in the back already for a power supply (like in our Telluride).

Thank goodness for plug-wiring harnesses, right? Such a time saver compared to having to splice into the wiring. Your install looks great! Thank you for taking the time to share with us!
