Wiring a trailer usually means tapping into factory wires, but this harness skips all that. The Curt T-Connector plugs in behind the driver- and passenger-side tail lights to give you a 4-flat connector. No splicing or wire tracing required—just plug it in and you’re ready to tow.

I've ran into that before as well. The tip is to strip the wire back further, and double the wire back on itself. This increased the diameter of the wire which helps secure it when the butt connector is crimped.

This is a custom fit harness for the 25' Sorentos, the only thing I can think of would be if your vehicle does not have LED tail lights this product will not work for it. It is only intended for vehicles with LED tail lights. I recommend double checking to see if you do or do not have LEDs.

The harness you purchased, # C63RV fits all 2026 Kia Sorento models EXCEPT the hybrid or SX model. If you have the hybrid or the SX model, use # C34FR73HY.

Is your 2026 Kia Sorento a SX or a Hybrid model? If so, you'd need # C34FR73HY instead.

Unfortunately, this will only fit the non-hybrid versions of 2025 Kia Carnival, Corrie. There isn't a plug an play option for the hybrid models, but we do have the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 that can be used. Would you like to have a return label sent out for the incorrect wiring harness? I can get that moving if so.
