Trailer Wiring Harness that Fits 2025 Kia Carnival with LED Taillights

Question:

I have a Kia carnival, SX, 2025, that was built before August 2024. The manufacture date is in May 2024. I want to know if this part will work with my Kia. My car does have LED lights. Part: Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector As per Kia parts department, Kia does not make the part needed for my car yet. This is why I need to confirm that your part will work properly on my Kia. Just want to confirm with you before I order this. Thank you for your time. My goal is to use this to connect to a tear trailer. I would like the option of using a four pin or a seven pin connection.

Hey Liana, we can confirm for you that the Curt trailer wiring harness part # C63RV that you referenced is for sure a fit for your 2025 Kia Carnival with LED taillights. This is just a 4-way though. Do you need a 7-way too?

Can i just attach a 7 way adapter to this 4 way part?

@LianaB Yes you can like with the # 37185. If your trailer has brakes too though you'd instead want the 7-way adapter part # ETBC7 which comes with the additional wiring needed to install a brake controller. Then for a controller you can't go wrong with the p3 part # 90195.
