When your bed or trailer weight makes the rear sag, these helper leaf springs pick up the slack. The SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit adds up to 1,500 lbs of rear suspension support by bolting above your factory springs. As your stock springs flex under load, rollers at each end engage automatically to lift the back end and keep your ride height level. There’s no air pressure to monitor or tubing to maintain—just consistent load support whenever you need it.
Crosswinds and corners won’t throw you around like before. These helper springs work like sway bars by keeping your factory leafs from twisting. The result is up to 30 percent less sway and a more stable ride when wind, passing trucks, or uneven turns try to move you around. Your truck stays planted and easier to control while towing or hauling heavy cargo.
You can dial in how much lift and firmness you want with the adjustable shackles. Mount them in the upper bolt holes for maximum support and extra ride height under constant heavy loads, the lower holes for a near-factory ride, or a mixed setting for a balance between comfort and stability. Each setup changes how much the helper spring preloads against your existing leaf pack, so you can match it to how you use your truck.
Getting this system on your truck doesn’t require special tools or permanent mods. The SuperSprings kit bolts right onto your existing leaf springs with included shackles and hardware—no drilling required. Poly spring pads sit between the OEM springs and helpers to prevent shifting on certain models, and once installed there’s nothing left to adjust or service. Air bags are often easier to adjust and is better for rear sag. The Air Bags I would recommend for your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle Part # AL88288. You can use the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Remote - Bluetooth - EZ Mount Part # AL74000EZ for a wireless control of your air bags.

The Sumo Springs continue to provide wonderful results. Many friends with 2500 trucks and onlookers at campgrounds are amazed when we tow our 38’ trailer weighing around 8k lbs when loaded, plus the truck bed loaded with wood and bikes, etc, the family and dog in the cab... All with little to no squat! The ride stays consistent to the 2500 feel I like and it allows me to keep my ol’ beater with high miles and a few thousand miles. I definitely recommend the Sumo Springs and their products. Again, having had their products on other vehicles with more than happy results, I don’t foresee ever purchasing a vehicle and not, at the least, including the rear bump stop supports and adding the leaf kit from there.
