Recommended Leaf Spring Suspension Enhancement for Trailer

Question:

SuperSprings Mounting Kit for OEM Leaf Springs Above the Axle - Extended U-Bolts Item # MXKT Is this item used by itself on existing leaf springs or is it used with an added leaf to the original set? Im looking to strengthen my leaf springs on my trailer. thanks,

The SuperSprings Mounting Kit for OEM Leaf Springs Above the Axle # MXKT is designed to be used with a SuperSpring Custom Suspension like the # SSA28 and allows you to mount the springs above the axles instead of below them with the rest of the leaf spring pack. These springs are designed for a truck and not a trailer, so it's really not going to be a solution that would work for you.

If you can tell us more about your trailer, like the axle capacity and how many axles there are, we can help you find a solution. For example, the SumoSprings # TSS-107-40 would be a good choice to help add some support to the leaf spring suspension if your axle capacity is between 3000-lbs and 5000-lbs
