Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs add up to 5,000 lbs of rear axle support between the frame and suspension to keep your truck level and steady under heavy loads. By keeping your ride height even, you maintain braking control, steering response, and proper headlight aim no matter what you’re hauling.
Every load is different, so the Ride-Rite system lets you fine-tune air pressure from 5 psi up to 100 psi. Add air when you’re towing or carrying weight to level off the truck and improve handling. Drop to the minimum pressure when unloaded for a smoother ride. Each side has its own manual inflation valve for balancing off-center loads, so you can get the stance and comfort just right for your setup.
These aren’t just simple rubber bags—they’re double-convoluted springs built with four layers of reinforced rubber and braided wire girdles that boost burst strength. The design cushions the contact between axle and frame to cut down on bounce and bottoming out. You’ll feel fewer jolts from potholes or washboard roads while the springs absorb road shock and soften the ride even under load.
Durability matters when you’re hauling heavy day after day. Each Firestone air spring is secured with corrosion-resistant metal end plates using a rolled crimp seal that keeps everything anchored tight. The complete kit includes custom brackets, hardware, air line, and separate valves for manual inflation—everything needed to bolt in strong load support without drilling or fabrication required.

Great, I did tow with my TT, truck was almost at max GVWR. Airbags were set to about 50psi to return factory rate. The ride was very good and controlled

**I have had these on my 2016 F150 for about a year now and I still love them. I have no issues when I hook up my travel trailer and head out or when I load my bed down with materials. Awesome product

Airbags are working well. They do make a smoother ride and keep the front of the truck more level. With a very heavy load 700-1500 lbs. they really make a difference.

Continues to perform as expected. Took me several trips with the trailer to arrive at an optimal inflation for highway speeds, so the manufacturer might be advised to provide some guidance.

This is the second set of these I have had. I purchased a new truck and I am not disappointed. Installed the first set my self in an afternoon, also installed the compressor as well and was impressed with the quality of the materials and the fitment. Had this installed by the hot rod shop up the street, who recommended the product when we talked previously. He loves the Bluetooth phone app for the compressor and has started to recommend it to his other customers. Would highly recommend this product and your company to anyone considering the purchase of a like product.

Dont forget to check at the Schrader valve, as well. Those have been known to leak. The soap solution test works great, unless its a very slow leak.
