RAS vs Air Bags for a 2020 Ford F-150 4x4

Question:

Will be towing only two days per month 30ft travel trailer RV max 9000 lbs with 2020 F150 4x4 and max tow package. I am struggling and torn between RAS or AirBag system for load leveling. I would appreciate any thoughts you have. Thank you again for all you do!

Hey Bill, I'd recommend going with the RAS RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-Y. The ride quality on RAS systems are typically better than air bags and they're a lot simpler than bags.

Also considering that you don't tow everyday, it doesn't seem worth it to invest in air bags for something you can also achieve with an RAS system.

@LazerS Absolutely the best move I could make. I am over the top pleased with the RAS and having owned air bag systems in the past, I can say that this was the best option for me. Over 20,000 miles on it now and towed from Texas to Montana with issue. Very pleased!
