Question:
It’s just so confusing so many options! I don’t want anything crazy! Firestone was recommended for me and I know the name! The trailer I have now isn’t really an issue but it would be nice! But the trailer I’m eye balling is gonna be like 10000lbs! So I think this will be a must do now! So was gonna just go with the 2582 bags cause thought they were 5000 each then 2158 for controlling it cause if bags don’t go over 100 psi why would I need anything higher then that

This is a really good question. So the Firestone Ride Rite kits like the # F2582 that you referenced are capable of having a capacity of up to 5,000 lbs but the the specific air bags that are used in this kit are only rated for up to 4,800 lbs according to Firestone as the bags this kit comes with are the 267C1.5. If you scroll to page 22 in the attached install instructions for the # F2582 you can see the capacity of the bag pair listed there.
