Question:

I like the thought of the full airbag system but seems a bit more complex than I need for not an everyday thing. I can see its value if I was full time pulling our travel trailer. Do I have to have the kit that I can adjust the airbag system inside the vehicle? Also what about part # TFRTT1504E

For a set of airbags that will work with your 2015 Ford F-150, I recommend taking a look at the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2582. The Ride-Rite airbags will maximize safe load carry capacity, increase stability, and improve overall ride quality. The air pressure is adjustable for each airbag therefore you can adjust the pressure to suite your needs. In order to operate the airbags from inside the cab of your vehicle, I recommend the Firestone Air Command I part # F2158. As long as you do not have an in-bed hitch, then these airbags will work well for you.

The Firestone Air Command I part # F2158 is not required for installing the airbag kit on your 2015 Ford F-150. All the compressor kit does is provide an easy method for frequently filling the airbags up. Once installed, the airbags are pretty much maintenance free for the exception of when you need to inflate them for towing. The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System part # TFRTT1504E will replace the factory bump stops on your F-150 and provide additional support while towing. However, if ride quality is of a concern to you I highly recommend going with the airbags as the ride quality associated with the Timbren's is less than idea in comparison to an airbag kit. If you review the installation video of the airbag kit installed on a similar 2015 Ford F-150, this will give you a better idea of how the system works.
