When space is limited but visibility is a must, this mini LED clearance or side marker light fits the job perfectly. Measuring just 2-1/2" long, 1-1/8" wide, and 5/8" deep, it mounts cleanly on flat surfaces without sticking out or snagging. You can mount it horizontally or vertically using the single-wire design that grounds through the mounting holes—simple, low-profile, and reliable.
This light uses a single red LED that lasts up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs. It delivers bright, efficient illumination while drawing only 0.06 amps at 12.8 volts. With no fragile filaments or bulb changes to think about, it’s a solid upgrade for better lighting and lower power use year after year.
Built for the harsh stuff, the housing and clear polycarbonate lens are sonically sealed into one waterproof unit. That means you can count on it even when your trailer is submerged or running through heavy rain. No leaks, no corrosion, just a dependable light that keeps working in wet conditions.
This P2-rated light throws a focused beam pattern with a 45-degree spread to either side of centerline. That makes it perfect as a clearance or side marker light to mark your trailer’s corners and boost on-road visibility. If you need both functions covered, just add a second light for full coverage front to back.
The clear polycarbonate lens and housing stand up to rough handling, road debris, and vibration. It’s tough enough for everyday towing or hauling while keeping that crisp red LED shine intact. DOT compliant and backed by a lifetime warranty on the LEDs, it’s built for long-term reliability you can trust.

Today we are going to be taking a look at the Optronix Mini LED Trailer clearance or side marker light. It has got a sonically sealed design so it is waterproof, and the unit is submersible. It is going to feature an LED system. LED's make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, they are much more efficient. You do not have to worry about replacing bulbs, and you do not have to worry about brittle filaments.
This one is going to feature red LED, and it is going to have a nice, clear lens, so plenty of light is going to be able to come through. It is going to be a poly carbonate lens and housing, again, waterproof design, sonically sealed, so it is submersible. It is a surface mount installation, so it is going to mount directly on the surface of the trailer. Mounting hardware is not included. This can be mounted horizontally or vertically. It is a single wire design, so you are going to have your one black wire, that is your power wire, and then your white wire, which is underneath all the, it is kind of like a poxy coating right there, that is that sonically sealed design, and it runs to this mounting point right here, so it is designed to ground through the mount holes or through the mounting hardware. The unit is Department of Transportation compliant.
This is a P2 rated light. We are going to take a look at some of the dimensions really quick. Overall length is going to give us a measurement of 2 1/2 inches long, and then the width that we have, we are looking at about 1 1/16 inch. Then, if we are looking at depth from back to front, we are looking at a measurement of about 5/8 inch deep. It is a really nice design.
It is going to contain one LED or one diode. We are going to go and hook it up to our actual power source, that way you can see what it looks like with power running through it. We will also be able to turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low light setting. When it comes to the power draw we are looking at a power draw of 0.06 amps, and that is a 12.8 volts. You can see here that the light sends out a really nice clear, consistent signal. Again, one LED, and Optronix is going to put a lifetime warranty on the LED.
That is going to do it for today's look at the Optronix Mini LED Trailer clearance or side marker light.
