The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

Knowing that a Black trailer would be hard to see at night the following lights were added to my custom built trailer for night time safety.
1- Side mount red and yellow fender light which only works when either the brakes or turn signal are in use.
2- Front Clearance lights, which give additional lighting at night when approaching on coming vehicles.

Excellent product, replaced the light and lens that was damaged on my trailer when a tire blow out caused excessive vibration to the fender which in turn caused the light to pop loose and then damaged when it landed on the highway at 70 mph.

This light is exactly what I needed for my 2013 Wells Cargo FT 8x12ft marker light on the fender. I will not hesitate to order again and will recommend this site to all my friends. My big reason for ordering from etrailer is the shipping cost; their charge is reasonable as opposed to Wells Cargo which was outrageous.
I was disappointed that the light didn't perform as promised. the lights are both on with marker lights, but blinkers do not function as previous lights did. Before I ordered these lights, I inquired as to their ability to do so. I was told that they were. I had previously purchased others at a local store, and they did not function properly, so I purchased these (unnecessarily), since they do not work as I expected them to.
Lights arrived on time and replaced ones that were 12 years old. They plugged right in and worked perfectly. I've ordered additional lights to replace others. I will definitely be a return customer for any future needs. Thank you!

These are easy to install and are very economical, and just have a nicer appearance compared to the dead ones I am replacing. The only concern I have is that these lenses simply snap into place on the base, as opposed to screwing onto the base like the old ones I'm replacing. Since this is a snowmobile trailer it gets exposed to all kinds of snow, ice, and slush. Hopefully they withstand the flying mixture of slop on the roads, as well as me brushing off the snow, etc. As with my previous purchases from e-trailer I was very happy with price, value, and shipping time. Thanks again!

My concerns about the lens possibly popping off due to harsh conditions were unfounded. They are still working great.
need to package better both pins were bent, was able to straighten and hope they work will know Saturday when I put on trailer.

That does not sound good. Once you have this installed, I would love to hear your feedback to see if the lights have worked for you.
Ordered replacement lights for my trailer, got them when they said I would. Easy to install, the videos that they have online are great. I think that there is a video for everything that they have.

Still working great, easy to install!
I purchased a trailer running light to replace a broken one. The product was exactly as advertised (great detailed photography) and was an identical replacement of what I had. All went well. Great service, great product.

Light still working well. I only use the trailer a few times per year, but so far so good.
As ordered, as described. Received promptly. I had problems trying to get this dual-color replacement light at several RV, hardware and truck stop locations, but these guys had it.

Still working after a year holding up good to gravel road bumps. Would buy again.
I rewired an old LL horse trailer and use this side marker/base combination light to bring the lighting up to Oregon specifications. Easy to install and the lights work great.
Exactly what i needed! So glad I found etrailer. Not that I mind using dealers and repair shops on occasion, but I also prefer to save money on those projects that i can take on myself. The fender lights were a perfect replacement and a quality product. Fast shipping was appreciated!

I'm refurbishing an enclosed trailer and etrailer made it super easy. I ordered new fenders, marker lights and replacement ramp hinges.
