A 3,500 lb maximum gross trailer weight rating and 525 lb tongue weight rating make this hitch a solid option for small trailers, bike racks, or cargo carriers. The 2" x 2" receiver opening is the most common size, so it pairs easily with ball mounts, cargo platforms, or a 4-bike rack for everyday use. Whether it’s a quick trip to the lake or hauling gear for a weekend away, you’ll have the flexibility to bring what you need.
This hitch is completely welded and bolts directly to the frame—no drilling or welding required. The precision robotic welds help maximize strength and ensure a consistent fit. It comes with a complete hardware kit and installation instructions so you can bolt it up securely using standard tools in your driveway or garage. The sturdy square-tube design keeps things stable for towing and hauling.
The matte black powder coat over a protective base coat gives this hitch extra corrosion resistance and a rugged look. The finish hides dirt, scuffs, and dings better than shiny hitches so it keeps looking good even after regular use. Beyond looks, that tough coating helps resist rust when exposed to road salt or moisture.

The cross tube tucks behind the bumper so only the receiver is visible once installed. This keeps the back of your vehicle looking clean while still giving you full Class III capability. It’s a straightforward way to add utility without adding visual bulk.

That is great to hear and I appreciate all your feedback during installation! It looks great on the vehicle and I am glad you were able to knock it out yourself with no issues. What are you planning on using the hitch for?

Hi Sterling! Your install looks great. It is much easier with a buddy for sure. It seems like you got the job done solo though. Now the question is, what are you using it for?

I still love this hitch! Have used it a bunch on trips with a cargo carrier also from etrailer and with a pull behind trailer to pick up some dirt. Has been a great return on investment. Thank you etrailer for your services.

No complaints. Still glad I went with the hidden version, both for aesthetics and ground clearance issues. Will probably get another for one of my other vehicles at some point.

A year later and its great! Absolutely seamless, I forget it’s there. Walking past, getting groceries or the stroller, I don’t even think about it until I need to tow. I have zero regrets in buying it.

Product still performing as expected. No rust or wear and I continue to be happy with its hidden profile compared to other stupid, ugly hitches I see on other Sienna minivans. Then again, we are drivers of minivans, so should we really be giving any concern for appearance?
