Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers

Worried about the tires on your fifth wheel dry rotting in the intense desert sun during a long camping trip? Or perhaps you're storing your trailer in the northeast, and you're concerned about your wheels rusting after a series of snowstorms? This extra-wide, water-repellent cover protects the triple-axle, side-by-side tire-and-wheel assemblies from dust, dirt, and the elements while your RV, camper, or trailer is parked or stored for an extended period of time. By keeping your tires covered, it'll prevent the sidewall from prematurely cracking and causing a blowout on the highway. This will extend the life of your tires, so you won't have to unexpectedly budget in a costly tire replacement.

This heavy-duty vinyl material is water repellent and UV repellent, so it'll hold up against rain showers, snow flurries, and heat waves during storage. The covers are reinforced with double-needle stitching and overlapping seams for extra durability, so it won't rip easily. And the material is easy to wipe clean before putting it away at the start of the camping season.

Securing the Covers onto Your Tire-and-Wheel Assemblies

Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers Elastic Hem

These covers are quick and easy to install. If you have larger tire-and-wheel assemblies, it's recommended to lay the covers in the sun for a few minutes. This will let the material expand slightly, so it'll fit over your tires more easily. Once the covers are in place on your tires, thread bungee cords through the built-in grommets on the back and pull tight to remove any excess slack in the material. These bungee cords and the elastic hem prevent the covers from flapping in the wind, and the soft interior lining won't damage your wheels' paint job.

Still going strong, not ripping or falling apart, fading hardly at all. Great quality, and doing a great job keeping my tires out of the harsh sun.

by:

I bought 4 of these for my horse trailer tires. They fit perfectly, so much so that I don't have to use the straps. They are easy to put on/take off, which I appreciate, no struggling. The only downside is that the mice like the lining for nesting material!

by:

A well made quality product. Exactly what I was looking for.

by:

Just got done installing the mirror extensions and wheel covers they all fit like a glove. I would recommend these products to anyone. Thank you

by:

Good but the Florida sun. Thought they would hold up longer.

by:

Great products , easy installation and good price

by:

These were the correct size. The elastic cord has held up very well after one year of use. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to protect their tires.

by:

they work as expected

by:

Fit well, little difficult to get on but manageable. Will see how they last over time.

by:

The fit was as described, material has held up perfectly with constant exposure to sunlight. No fading, cracking, or tearing.
A very nice product.

by:

Great product at a great price

by:

IMO its a great product. Simple and easy to use, strong enough without adding unnecessary cost. When it fails I would replace it with the same item. Also, youre bookmarked. Ive had nothing but good experiences with etrailer.

by:

Covers fit well and are easy to install. I like having the ball bungies for holding them in place. The covers are made of a nice soft material.

by:

Hi Lorie I bought your cover one year ago it tore in about four places during the first month we had it. We put it on correctly there were not Highwinds or anything like that we believe it must’ve been we can several locations so the question is do you gave us a free replacement of the exact cover? Seems like poor quality to us.

by:

the covers look OK quality for the price. But two covers only came with one cord to strap it tight, no big deal but something to look into I think at least

The covers should come with two cords for sure. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.

Bought these covers to protect the wheel and tires on a utility trailer that sits out side all year. They look and fit great. The real test will be how they hold up to the cold and snowy winter.

Great. Did real well with the winter weather.

by:

Fits great!

by:

Perfect fit on my utility trailer with 15" wheels. These are a definite upgrade from the worn out canvass covers they replaced.

by:

Got my awesome Adco tire and wheel guards in the mail. Really impressed with the workmanship and style and ease of putting them on. The material they're made of is so durable yet smooth and soft. I also got a CE Smith spare tire cover and its equally fabulous! I highly recommend these tire and wheel covers. Very economical also. Fabulous Value!!! Hurray!

by:

Well fitting, heavy material

by:

Fits great on ST225/75R15. Like the tie downs that came with the covers. Look/feel like good quality material - expect they will last a long time. They were shipped/arrived quickly - faster than expected.

by:

I recently purchased tire covers for my utility trailer while staying in Florida for 3 months. I was concerned about protecting the wheels from rust in the extremely humid environment. I'm very happy with the covers which are made with heavy duty vinyl material. Shipping was expedient and tracking was available (however wasn't needed). Great product.

by:

They do the job and stay on well enough. Not much more to say. Quality seems good.

by:

Good quality that has held up well so far with no issues. They were tight for the tire size I ordered them for, but I used them on a trailer with smaller tires and they work great and they're much easier to take on and off. Basically, I'd recommend ordering at least 1 size larger than measured for ease of installation. I'll be ordering another set!

by:

Great product! I use these on my car trailer that can sit for months at a time. The straps keep the covers from flying off on windy days.

  • Trailer Tire Covers For Tires on 15 Inch Wheels
I assume you are referencing trailer tires on a 15 inch wheel, which would either be size 205/75-15 or 225/75-15 tires. For that size tire, you need covers for 27 inch to 29 inch diameter wheels, and you can choose from either Black or White: - Black: Adco Ultra Tyre Gard RV Tire Covers for 27" to 29" Tires # 290-3973 - White: Adco Ultra Tyre Gard RV Tire Covers for 27" to 29" Tires # 290-3953

Adco recommends the # 290-34824 for the weather that's encountered in your area. This is Adco's recommendation for all climates, as well as being the recommended size for your 31 foot motorhome. Four of the Tyre Gards like the # 290-3973 you mentioned are also included with is important as exposure to UV radiation will prematurely break down the rubber compounds in the tire. • Recommended Tyre Gard Tire Storage Protectors for 205/75-14 Tires
It sounds as if you're needing a storage cover. If that's the case, I'd recommend the # 290-3973 Adco Ultra Tyre Gards that fit 27-29 inch diameter tires. Your tire size is typically a bit larger than 26 inches, so I wouldn't recommend going with the # 290-3974 you mentioned as they might not fit well. The Tyre Gards use bungees to attach, to havinng them be a tiny bit larger than necessary won't be a problem.

  • Limited Tire Clearance with Stock Tire Size on a 2006 Forest River Cherokee 27Q
We recommend having a minimum of 3" between the top of the tire and bottom of the fender in order to allow for proper suspension travel. However, based on the photo you sent I believe you need new leaf springs as the ones you have appear to be almost completely flat. This has then compromised your tire clearance. The flattened leaf springs could either be a result of overloading the trailer or just general wear. In order to replace them you would need to know your axle capacity and the...
