Max Tongue Weight and Towing Capacity of a 2015 Toyota Sienna

Question:
I read on toyotas mobility website that my 2015 Sienna Limited has a max tongue weight of 385lbs, is that the toyota OEM hitch option only? Since the etrailer hitch is rated to 525lbs, is that the max capacity? Thank you.

Michael, the capacity you're referring to is just for that hitch because your 2015 Toyota Sienna has a max towing capacity of 3,500 lbs and a max tongue weight capacity of 385 lbs.
So something like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98853 you were looking at will let you use the full capacity of your Sienna, but you cannot exceed max capacity of the lowest rated component.
