Is the KU77FR compatible with the e98853 hitch?

Hello Dan, thanks for reaching out. The Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # KU77FR is indeed compatible with the etrailer Class 3 Hitch # e98853. The hitch has a 2" receiver and a 525 lb tongue weight capacity so more than enough for 4 bikes. I have a 2013 Sienna with a similar hitch on it. That van is actually very stout when it comes to cargo carrying so you will be able to carry 4 bikes without issue.

Just be careful on steep inclines. The hitch does ride a little bit low and with a 4 bike rack on the back it will stick out pretty far. Most roads will be fine this would really only apply to steep driveways or super steep roads like in San Fransisco.

Hey Dan, how did the setup with the Kuat Transfer V2 and the etrailer hitch work out on your Sienna? Did you notice any clearance issues on steep driveways like we mentioned? Your feedback could help others planning a similar bike rack setup.

@DanG Nice glad to hear its working out! Clearance was never an issue with my Sienna but then again Missouri isn't exactly known for steep roads. It really would only present itself as an issue in extreme situations. Thanks for taking the time to share!
