The previous reviews were spot on - it fit perfectly onto my 2022 Lexus RX350 and only took about 15 minutes. There are two things I would recommend for the next person wanting to do this themselves - get the torque wrench before starting the project since you need to torque the bolts to 75 pounds, and buy a small bottle of Loctite blue threadlocker. This will ensure that even though you torque them down correctly, and there is a lock washer, the bolts will stay locked into the frame of the vehicle for years to come. Highly recommend doing this yourself and saving hundreds from an installer!!
My Lexus RX 350 was tow package ready. Me, age 70 and my buddy with a hydraulic jack, age 73, took 20 minutes to install the trailer hitch.

Perfect fit! Easy installation. I had to remove the damper, but notice no difference in the dive. I can’t use the lift gate foot sensor, but don’t care, didn’t use it anyway. Didn’t have to cut any of the bumper. Very happy with my now second purchase from etrailer.com.

Install looks great, Tyler! How often do you take your bikes out?
Perfect fit and a nice finish. It literally took 20 minutes taking my time to bolt it up. Plus it looks clean. The entire crossbar is hidden behind the bumper and the only thing showing is the square receiver tube. I really needed it strictly to put my cargo tray on the rear and occasionally a bike rack but it’s nice that it has a tongue weight of 675lbs and towing capacity of 4500 lbs, which is actually 1000 lbs more than the Lexus RX is rated to tow. Better to have more than not enough. I have used Etrailer several times over the years and the service has always been outstanding. I needed this in a hurry for a trip in a couple of days. My product showed shipped within a couple hours of ordering and came on time. Didn’t submit photos because there are already multiple accurate photos on the site.

Still very happy with this receiver. One year in and it is still rust free. The design for the Lexus RX is perfect, as the receiver is completely hidden except for the tube, which I added a cover for, when not in use.

This hitch was easily installed, and was a good fit for the vehicle. It does not detract from the beauty of my vehicle because it is well hidden underneath. Seems to be well-made and durable.

I had my hitch installed onto my vehicle ever a year ago. It was a perfect fit and it continues to work very well. I can easily put my bike rack onto this hitch on a regular basis. I definitely recommend this hitch.

This hitch fit perfectly on my 2016 RX 450h AWD. I had Lexus install it for ..., since the bumper appearance panel needed to be cut in two places for my hybrid, specific torques needed to be met, five socket sizes needed, and the exhaust hanger needed to be reattached. It was easier to have them do it. I also bought a Lexus Hitch Plug from ....
This product had a slight shipping delay, but etrailer was great about keeping me updated. They also provided excellent instructions specific to a 450h (with photos) and have a great installation video for this product.

Perfectly after 1 year.
Great product! Draw-Tite hitch for RX350 arrived in good condition sooner than expected with all hardware and packaging intact. Installation was straightforward with good instructions included.
Ms. Lauren emailed me several times confirming order details, shipping timeframe and other details, she rocks!!
packaged well, delivered within a week. installed well in my RX350 (everything lined up and instructional video online was great). hardware was high quality.
Received my hitch, unfortunately the hitch broke through it's box during shipping. The coating was scraped off of part of the hitch and will become a rust point in our Ohio winters. Is there anyway to remedy this or should it be returned.

This hitch fit perfect for my 2022 Lexus RX350. Very easy install. Did not have to trim the bumper as suggested in the written instructions. If you are using a bike rack you may need to purchase as hitch extender as the hitch does not protrude far enough past the bumper to allow the bike rack to folder in the upward storage position.
The hitch, support and instructions were excellent. What eTrailer or its suppliers need to improve is the hitch packaging. The Hitch was poking out of the box in multiple areas and needed repainting before install. All of my accessories were put in the same box with the hitch. All of the boxes were busted open by the hitch bouncing around. Fortunately everything was ok, but some of the parts had come out of the box (only minor damage). This is a common complaint I've seen in reviews. But again the products and support were excellent...I'D BUY AGAIN OR RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND.

Vehicle - 2017 Lexus RX350 (Electric tailgate)
I own a Thule #995 EXPRESSWAY car rack that does not fold away from the vehicle unless all bicycles are removed.
My etrailer representative offered a Rocky Mounts Hitch Extender (# RKY10008) which gave me two important points.
- First - Even with ALL cycles on the rack, the tailgate clears with NO problems.
- Second - Accidentally activating the tailgate I do not have to worry about destroying an expensive part of my vehicle!!
** One added bonus - the extension has a lock with an Anti-rattle feature making the complete assembly SOLID! **
What can I say, it's a trailer hitch! The holes aligned as they should and the bolts went in without issue. Finish is good, fit is good. The packaging held up thru shipping and arrived intact. All is good!

I have a 2017 Lexus RX350 and The installation was quick and easy with only securing four bolts. I drove from CA to UT with no problems with a Kuat bike rack and the hitch was rock solid. When I purchase my Jeep I’ll contact etrailer for the precise fit for my tow hitch!

Weve had zero problems with either of our hitches, and weve pulled a variety of boats and trailers with them. Wed definitely buy them again!
I bought the trailer hitch for my 2020 Lexus RX350 including the wiring harness 56083 to plug directly into provided Lexus wiring. First they sent me a Curt model which the specs said confirmed fit however it didn’t. They sent me a return label and credited my card no problems there. A week later I checked and they had a Draw-Tite model so I bought it and it came on time. It fitted a little tight squeezing the bottom of the bumper a bit but nothing to see from behind or no damage to vehicle. The wiring harness fit perfectly however no power to the lights. I am now finding out I need a relay to make it work.
This was the third E-trailer hitch I have installed on my personal vehicles. Each time, I watched the on-line installation videos then installed the hitches in my driveway, by myself. They fit perfectly every time. I also installed the wire harnesses that also fit perfectly. Their staff is very helpful and available if you have any questions. I highly recommend E-trailer and their excellent products.

The hitch is doing great, I am really glad to have added this feature to my car.
I was looking for a trailer hitch for my 2020 Lexus RX 350. There are very few that actually work with this vehicle. Lexus saw fit to extend the rear fascia a bit lower this year to make it that much more difficult to mount a trailer hitch. I was happy to find the Draw-Tite 75540 that has that little extra clearance that is needed. It was still a very tight fit. With the great assistance from my son, who did most of the work, we were able to install the hitch in about 30 minutes. We will use it mostly for hauling our bicycles but we occasionally pull a small single axle trailer.

Glad to hear of your successful install, that's awesome! FYI- the threadlocker isn't necessary as long as the bolts are properly torqued. This being said, if using it would make you feel more comfortable by all means go for it!
