Does Draw Tite Hitch 75540 for the 2021 Lexus RX350 Require Fascia Trimming

Hello, I am about to order the 75540 but am confused by the need to trim the lower fascia specified in the Horizon Global instruction date 21-21 Rev C. Instead of trimming the fascia, can i use additional washers as spacers to low the receiver? My use is a bike rack only, no towing. Thanks,

There's a possibility you could add enough washers to the install hardware of the Draw Tite hitch part # 75540 to allow it to fit under the rear bumper without trimming but since that would void the warranty of the hitch we cannot recommend that. Fascia trimming for hitch installs is very common, and in this application the area would be almost totally out of sight.
