Cutting Steps for Installation on the Draw-Tite 75540 Hitch on a 2022 Lexus RX 350

The video shows the gentleman cutting into the bumper. Will this be required on my 2022 RX350?

I have taken a look at the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 75540. This hitch is confirmed to fit your 2022 Lexus RX 350 and it does require some minor trimming of the lower portion of the rear trim. I have linked a couple of pictures and one with included dimensions of the required cut. The receiver is only 2" x 2" so you won't have to make a 3" cut like the instructions say. It's alright if you make a smaller cut that is just enough for the receiver to not rub on the trim.

I'm confused, you say you linked some pictures, and a 3" cut is not required but the picture shows a 3" cut? I just purchased a 75540 which by your comments would require a 2 1/8" cut.

@Sean The receiver is only 2" x 2" so you won't have to make a 3" cut like the instructions say. It's alright if you make a smaller cut that is just enough for the receiver to not rub on the trim. 2-1/8" sounds like it will work and not rub.
