Perfect for light-duty towing, this custom, vehicle trailer hitch receiver features fully welded, gloss powder coated steel construction. Drawbar sold separately.Second etrailer order this year that’s been loose and damaged due to ridiculously insufficient packaging. The 50lb unsecured hitch was in an oversized box with ZERO dunnage or means to prevent the hitch from flopping around in the box. The box was completely open, and every side of the box was ripped or gouged. I suspect the driver put the hitch back in the box. Quite frankly, thinking this packaging is ok sends a very clear middle finger to the customer. Time to move on from etrailer.
After reviewing the installation video, my husband and I (we are both seniors) were able to install this item fairly easily.

I was very surprised at how professionally manufactured this trailer hitch was for the price. I have never installed a trailer hitch before and it only took me about 30 minutes. I did use a floor jack to help me since I was doing it by myself you do not need to drop the muffler, if you’re worried about scratching the pipes, just put some tape on them but the trailer hitch will fit. I highly recommend etrailer because their product is very good and very reasonable.
Packaging a bit beat up when it arrived, however, no damage to the hitch and all bits and pieces were there. Approximately one hour to unpack, set up and do solo install. Definitely would have been easier to install with a second set of arms (muscle).
The Curt trailer hitch receiver arrived on the day it was supposed to. All the parts and instructions included. It looks well made and fit the vehicle with a minimal fuss. I had the unit installed in about an hour. Your installation video clearly explained the process and was very helpful. The only issue was the box was roughed up in transit and arrived with part of the square receiver tube sticking out of the box. A small amount of the powder coat finish was knocked off. Fortunately that will be out of sight under the vehicle.
The hitch works great. I had difficulty getting the muffler out if the way myself so I took it to a shop for the installation.
The product is great. very sturdy. Will use this mainly for my bike rack. Installation was the challenging one. Gave this a 4 rating due to the installation document not really clear about the muffler that needs to be pulled side to side to slowly insert the hitch. Had to call customer support and good thing a video was shared. That was all I need. Customer support was an easy 5 rating for sure!
Delivered quickly, seems to have installed cleanly. Works well so far as receiver for bike rack on our RAV4.

Product has continued to work as promised - no issues.
The hitch is great BUT the packaging was trashed during shipment. The packaging was sub-par and the hitch was sticking out of the cardboard in 3 places.

To be honest it is not uncommon for this to happen despite our best efforts. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to make sure the hitch was not damaged.
20 minute install by myself. Doesn't get much better.

Working out great. No problems hauling two bikes to Idaho and back and a small trailer around home.
Fairly straightforward to install even by oneself with a jack in about an hour. Tight space on the right side! Smaller hands would help. Ratcheting 19mm box end wrench recommended!
The hitch fit my RAV4 and works as advertised, but my son had a little more trouble with the installation than expected. Fortunately, a video helped him get the job done, and he was able to add his bike rack to the hitch. It does what he needed, and the price was reasonable.
the hitch itself works great. However it was shipped in a box and was partly sticking out of the torn box on delivery. The metal finish was badly scratched on the hitch end and an end that not visible once installed. I had to use some paint to fix the exposed damage. Crap experience and I wouldn't recommend your company due to the crappy packaging.

We do our best to package the hitches so that they will arrive undamaged. Sometimes the hitches will arrived with cosmetic defects. You have already done what we would have recommended by painting the hitch with a rust resistant paint.
Fit nicely with no issues. The box was undersized for the hitch. The hitch is 1/4” taller than the inside dimensions of the box. No wonder the legs keep poking out of the box when they are shipped. As others have noted the legs get pretty scratched during transit because of the poor boxing.
I installed it by myself in my driveway!
Excellent hitch for my Toyota! For the most part in was pretty easy to install. I had a second set of hands to help hold in place during the install. This product has worked great for me being able to take my bicycle on my trips.
Loved the hitch I purchased for my vehicle,so we got one for my husband's suv. Gives us lots of extra storage for camping gear. Bike Attachment is amazing for exploring our local trails.

Well built, and perfect fit
The hitch install was easy, the electrical was a bit more tedious, but all is working well.
I have ordered twice from this company. Since I just bought a new car, I needed a new hitch for the bike rack I had ordered previously. Customer service remembered me and answered the questions I had.
I haven't installed it yet, but the videos are helpful. I am sure it will fit just like the other one. I will deal with this company for all my needs in this area.
Great quality
I bought this hitch to mount on my 2021 RAV 4 Hybrid so I could pull my utility trailer and to hold my receiver style bicycle rack. So far, I have only used it to transport bikes and it works great. The hitch was relatively easy for one person (me) to install in about two hours and it looks good, i.e. not very noticeable.
Man, super fast delivery...two days. This hitch was pretty easy to install. Recommend you get the bolts on the passenger side going before you do driver side. Much easier to manipulate hitch once passenger side is in. Etrailers has been top notch with notification and delivery.
