1-1/4 or 2 Inch Trailer Hitch For 2024 Toyota RAV4

Question:

Curious if I should go with the 2 inch trailer hitch or 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch for my 2024 Toyota RAV4??

I always recommend going with a 2" trailer hitch receiver over a 1-1/4" hitch, and that's definitely the route I suggest for your 2024 Toyota RAV4. Reason is there are just so, so many more options for both accessories like bike racks or even ball mounts if you plan on towing. Really, the only exception is if you already have a bike rack that fits a 1-1/4" that you love and want to keep using for years - so then use the 1-1/4" Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C66KR.

Apart from that, go with one of the following 2" hitches that fit your 2024 Toyota RAV4 (which are the same but for the powder coat so I'd go with the least expensive one): Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13416 or etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e23ZR.

I also wanted to add, in case you did plan on using the hitch for towing, that to add a 4-way the correct part for your '24 RAV4 is the T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56434.
