By using this grease seal set along with your Bearing Buddy bearing protector, you can be sure that the seal and ring always have adequate grease for fluid operation.
Note: If your axle spindles already have permanent, stainless steel surface rings, you do not need this spindle seal system.

The Spindo seals are the best seals for marine trailer bearings. The axle sleeve protects the new seal from damage from a rough surface on the axle where the seal rides. The seal ring also puts additional pressure on the seal to prevent water intrusion and keeps the bearing grease in the hub.

So far, I have installed the seal kit & it looks to be a very robust kit. With how it all went together, I do not anticiate any issues - that's why I gave it 4 stars, not 5 (yet).

Leaking inner seals allow grease onto the brakes, rendering them useless or worse, if only one side leaks, a catastrophic "trailer pull" could result at the worst possible moment, during a braking event or panic stop. These seals are the best available and the stainless surfaces contacting the rubber seals will not rust. They are the best there is.

Installed next day with some issues.These are manufacturing related. The seal can be installed two ways, need to be careful to install with correct side facing out, not mentioned in the instructions. The seal I replaced measured 3.370 diameter, seal in the kit measured 3.379 diameter. It took a lot of effort to drive into the hub. too much interference, press fit. That being said, kit should solve my issue of a rough spindle due to a previous bearing failure.

I have used bearing buddy seals and stainless steel rings for years. Only product I know that can provide a good sealing surface on trailer axle that did not have a good surface finish.
Product came quickly as promised.

This Seal/Bearing kit seams to have kept the water out from ruining my Bearings/ Races. Grease in all Hubs is water free and still the same colour as when I packed them.

I purchased 2 sets of these and have installed them on one side of my boat trailer. It looks like they will work well but one of the sets was sent without the O-rings that are needed.
