Class S Designation
SAE Class S tire chains are designed for use on vehicles with restricted wheel well clearance. Certain newer cars, vans, and small trucks - especially those with large, aftermarket tires - may require Class S chains.
These chains will fit your tires provided there is both:
Installation
1. Drape the chain over the tire, making sure that the side chain with the lever is on the outside. Drive forward about 1/4 of a tire revolution. (You can also lay the chain out and then drive onto it.)
2. Reach around behind the tire and fasten the ends of the chain together.
3. Move back to the front of the tire and fasten the ends of the chain together using the built-in lever.
4. Drive forward a bit and tighten the chain as needed by moving the hook to the next link.
You can use rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) to increase the tension on the chains for a tighter fit.
How to Choose Snow Chains for Your Vehicle
To choose the right snow chains, you must match your tire size. Those measurements can be found on the side of your tire, as shown below.

These tire chains fit my JLG Boom Lift tires, size 25x7-12, perfectly after I removed two cross links. They were longer than I needed, but worked perfectly fine after I made the adjustments, which was very easy to do! The advice provided by Andrew was perfect! Thank you Andrew and etrailer.com. Also, I received the chains 2 days after I ordered them - super fast shipment!!! Great company to deal with. I would buy from them again!
Bought for my 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan. It is now unstoppable. My Vermont private road is too steep to be classified as a town road, and it went up through 6 inches of snow with icy spots without ever flinching.
I bought the chains after one winter morning when I could not get up a hill near my home. Living in Colorado one day can be a blizzard and the next sunny with snow melt off in a few days. Since my purchase I have not had the need to put on the chains but I know that they will fit and I am prepared. I gave an average rating for that reason.
As with everything I get from etrailer my new snow chains arrived in an extremely timely manner. Had a few questions during the ordering process which were answered with a single, helpful, friendly, concise phone call. My vehicle is equipped with oversized tires so I had to use the tire size calculator to get the correct fit for the tires I am using. The tire calculator was right on. Perfect fit. Perfect wheel well clearance when mounted on front or back. I needed type S chains for my commuter vehicle to make the 5 mile trip to the main road on those 12" snow/ freezing rain mornings not only comfortable, and possible, but also as safe as possible. Long story short if you need snow chains of any size or style etrailer is you store.
Chains were easy to put on and with the rubber tensioners these chains are snug. Haven't used these on the road but my driveway was covered with snow and ice and it handled it great
We are glad to know the chains did the job and were not to difficult to install.
--Got on time, packed nice, made in China, and have not used yet. Going to use these on Dodge Caravan FWD when towing travel trailer out of steep camp sites were road surface is poor. Hoping it does work out.
Excellent fit and worked very well. Only issue so far is that we had one link break, but I am guessing that this happens on occasion. We have them on again for this winter's plowing, but have not had to use them yet (thankfully!).
Website is useful, ordering is easy, prices are reasonable, shipping is fast.
Will be back when will try chains during Christmas trip.
Awesome product, although truth be told I havent used them whatsoever yet - havent had that much icy roads. But it looks sturdy and in good shape.
Great product! Very easy to install on my crown Victoria! I can’t wait to use in the snow!
installed in about 10 mins ; have not used in snow yet ; able to drive at about 30 mph on hard surface road with no problems , just to make sure they would hold up ... NO COMPLAINTS . GOOD PRODUCT!
here again, thank you
I love the product, and your service. I do highly recommend it to everyone. At this moment I do not have a picture yet. I will in a short future.

I know iron. 17 yrs trucking, mostly doubles across Montana into the Dakotas. Chained up a lot.
Pictures show what you get with this set I bought for my 2005 Tahoe. Heavy gauge chains w/triple cam locks w/long wrench for excellent leverage to get cams tight. Tight cams mean links don't "slap" pavement which causes increased wear. They arrived today so not used yet. However, for my application they will last a lot longer than those cheaper; light gauge, "disposable" chains, use once and throw away after you pay a tow bill.

Chains seem to be made top quality. Only test fit them so far with perfect fit on a 35x12.5 r18 tire. Hopefully I dont have to use them but the security of having them and knowing the quality and fit is great is worth it.
Review from a similar Twist Link Ladder in Tire Chains
Needed these chains for a snowboarding trio this December. Installed them in my yard to make sure they fit, and figure out which link worked best. Now that i know what link to use, next time it should only take sbout 10 min to put them on. I really like how they stay away from my wheels so should not scrstch them. My yard was very soft from recent rain and you can see how well the chains dig into the mud. Should be really good on snow/ice.
