Hello, I am looking for cable chains for 2025 Honda sport touring Civic Hybrid tire size 235-40-18. Owners manual suggests sc 1034, but SCC recommends sc 1036. What has etrailer got that will be correct for my Civic?

Hi Jonny; those are cable chains, and I'm willing to bet pretty much any cable chains for your tires will have enough clearance. Are you actually planning on using these or are you making sure you're covered under your state laws? The Titan Chain Cable Tire Chain # TC1042 will fit 235/40R18 tires and keep you covered. Just to be sure, you can go ahead and measure for clearance using the attached picture.
If you really plan on driving in the snow, the Titan Chain Low Profile Tire Chains # TC1142 would be a better choice for actual use. These have the same clearance requirements so as long as your measurements line up you can use these instead.
