This solar powered LED porch light is a great option for lighting up the exterior of your RV or adding extra security lighting to a shed, garage, or trailer. An integrated dusk-to-dawn light sensor automatically activates the light when it gets dark. A motion detector triggers the light to turn on when it detects movement, illuminating a large area for increased safety and security during your comings and goings. Preset modes enable you to choose the way the light responds to motion to fit your specific needs. Built-in solar panels charge the light's lithium-ion battery to provide over 35,000 hours of use.
Solar panels line the top of the light and convert sunlight into long lasting power. And because the light is powered by the sun, there is no need to replace batteries or deal with messy wiring. To keep the light running at peak efficiency position it in direct sunlight during daylight hours.
The lower section of the light contains 84 surface-mount LEDs that produce a bright white light that is ideal for illuminating a large area. These high quality diodes produce a solid panel of light for enhanced visibility.
The back of the light contains 2 LEDs that provide a soft white light for visibility in the immediate area around the light.
An integrated dusk-to-dawn sensor monitors natural light levels and keeps the light from activating until it's needed. This feature increases the light's efficiency by keeping it inactive during the day and allowing it to run longer through the night. The sensor activates the light when it detects less than 30 lumens of ambient light.
A built-in motion detector monitors a 19-1/2' area and has a detection angle of 120 degrees. When motion is detected, the light will activate to the preset mode you have selected. There is a button located on the back of the light that allows you to cycle through the 3 available modes. Press the button 4 times to deactivate the light.
In Mode A, the light activates at sundown and produces a dim light throughout the night. This setting is ideal for providing a gentle light throughout the night, preventing missteps and increasing safety.
In Mode B, the light will once again switch to a dim light at sundown. The light activates to full brightness when motion is detected. 20 Seconds after motion is no longer detected, the light dims and gently illuminates the surrounding area. This mode is great for signaling the arrival of visitors to your area while still providing a functional light source around the RV.
In Mode C, the light acts like a security light. Instead of activating at sundown, the light doesn't turn on until it detects motion. It then stays on for 30 seconds after motion is no longer detected. This is great for when you're bringing supplies into the RV, or for deterring unwanted visitors.
Installing the light is a simple process, and it comes with everything needed for mounting. The included template helps to determine where you would want to install the light before drilling the installation holes. With the holes drilled, insert the wall anchors and screws to position the light. Once you have the light hanging in the position you want, tighten down the screws to secure the light in place. If you would prefer a temporary application, it is recommended that you utilize double-sided tape, or suction cups with hooks to hold the light in position as needed.
The light should not be installed higher than 13' off the ground. This will ensure the motion detection sensor can operate at peak performance.

The other issues is, it is meant to operate as a porch light, if awning is deployed which is always it won’t properly solar charge. This requires me having to remove if from its mount and place in direct sunlight to charge. .
nice light, did not end up putting it on motorhome, too big. Using it outside by the side of the house.

Works great, no problems
Found that we needed a motion light for the trailer steps. This model has an accessible switch after it is mounted. This is important to switch off the light when the trailer is moving.
I installed using 3m vhb double sided tape (not included) to our rockwood roo. Clean surface first for best adhesion. No drilling needed. Solar light illuminates when approaching trailer or when door opens. Very bright. Just the ticket for what I needed.
Installed a year ago and working very well. Charge easily last entire night on motion sensor. Nice and bright around front door.
Fantastic! I have it under Mode B and it's bright! Considering to go to Mode C, that way it will turn itself off when there is no motion. Easy installation. Thank you.

FANTASTIC!!
This light has been great. We camp at lots of campgrounds that do not have any lights (which we prefer). Approaching your rv in the dark can be challenging. Remember a step here or there, and don’t trip over a chair, etc…. This light provides temporary assistance to make sure you can enter in case you forget a flashlight. And then it shuts off (if you select that mode)!! Perfect. Just remember when mounting it, that you want to be able to reach it to turn it on or off or select a different mode.
I bought two of these and put one over each trailer door. They work great.
I have owned the product for a year now. It is a great product. The reason I purchased the product was the ability to change the batteries if they failed. So far so good with the original batteries. This would be a 5 star review, if it had a remote for the settings. I installed the light at the highest point I could, which means I need to get a ladder to change settings and or turn it off. I actually installed at the rear of my 5th wheel, so I have light when I walk back there to work on it.
Guality piece! Works well!

Solar-powered LED light does its job, and we couldnt be happier to have made this purchase. We placed the light on the drivers side of our travel trailer to light up that side. Still shining bright!!
Perfect addition for our "toy hauler" enclosed trailer. Exceeded expectations.
The light is bright, lighting up the entire area along the door side of the trailer. Any movement within 15 feet will activate the security feature, very nice.
Very pleased. The installation instructions were easy to follow, and I had the light mounted very quickly. I am using Mode C currently (the light is off until it detects motion), and this mode works very well. The light is solidly built but is not heavy. Plenty of light (it is bright enough to read by). Would definitely buy again.
Bright light that is solar. I have it come on when motion is detected, and stay on for 30 seconds. It has never low on battery.
work great. a friend liked them so much, he bought a pair for his own trailer.
Located at my out building for security ... let's me know if someone or animal is near.
Looks capable of standing up to all weather. The three modes and two levels of light intensity take it easy on RV neighbors. Easy to install.
I have the same Solar powered RV porch light, purchased it about two months ago. I was not happy because the item was sent in its original box instead of being shipped inside of a box. Also, the box must have been dropped because there were corner dings. I called etrailer and told my bad experience with shipping. I was told the issu going to be discussed and going to be fixed.
Well, they fixed it! My second, exact same RV Solar porch lamp as the first arrived in perfect condition with my item inside a padded box. Upon unpacking, my lamp is in mint condition.
I really appreciate etrailer’s efforts and that you folks listen to us if something needs to look at and fix.
I will keep continue to purchase from etrailer for my RV, and I highly recommend this Solar RV porch light as well as etrailer to any RVer.
Muy buena calidad de material esperemos hacer otro comentario despues de su uso.

I installed the solar porch light above the door of my trailer. It lights up the area around the door and makes it easy to unlock the door when entering at night. The unique design of the light fits well with my trailer
The short winter days reminded me how nice it would be to have outside lighting on the travel trailer when we get back late, or hear noises in the dark and need to feel safe, without exiting the RV. I got two ... one for each side. And they can be lifted off mount screws (for road travel) when it's time to leave. Easy to install...instructions, template, and hardware included.
Very bright Motion sensor mode works great. Had worked seamlessly over the last year. No wiring. Easy install
Light works fine recharges quickly and is very bright. Bigger than I thought it would be.
these are just what I was looking for. plenty of light.
I needed a light for the steps on our 5th wheel and choose this one based on the description and reviews. It's perfect for the job. Motion detection picks us up about 15 feet from the door. Light is nice and bright. On the setting I am using it turns off after 30 seconds of no motion. Perfect

I have modified the way I use the light. I place it on the ground or a picnic table so I can charge it. I move it around at night and leave it near the door so it does activate but not as many nuisance activations at night.
