I didn't believe the other reviewers' reviews, but found out for myself that it's true. Everything is done from the outside of the tire. Brilliant design! Obviously, it's too early to tell how they will fare in the snow & ice this winter, but things are looking really good!
I bought two sets: one for our Lexus RX350 and one for our Chevrolet 2500 Express van. Both sets fit perfectly. They even supply gloves & a mat to kneel on when putting them on so as not to get wet.
Also, the chains arrived in two days...ahead of schedule.
(The pic shows the Lexus installation, but the Express van installation looked the same.)
They go on, SO EASY!! BUT. :( I've used the about 10-15 times so far and quite a few of the cross-link bars have snapped and separated (the links that hold the opposite sides together). I reached out to Konig for the "5 year warranty" but haven't heard anything back (1+ week) since submiting my claim. Super dissapointed. $XXX chains should last more than a few uses. Warranties should be honored.
Jenny N - 03/29/2022Installation was as easy as is shown with the videos. However, the trick is removing them. Somewhat more difficult. Still, very pleased with their performance. I'm glad I spent the money for the higher quality chains.
Went on quick and easily. I watched the installion video provided by etrailer. Exactly what you see, my only advice is be very careful to make sure the chains are spread out and completely untangled. If any links are crossed or tangled it won't go on correctly. Also l would recommend practicing putting them on once or twice. Once you have done that you can literally put them on in 5 minutes. The chains look very durable and quality materials. I got these for a predicted bad winter this year l will update after l get a chance to use them.
I have only installed them in the driveway but was very pleased with the speed and ease of installation. I feel this is a very reasonably priced product an should provide years of service. I can highly recommend Konig as a quality purchase.
Definitely on the pricey side for chains. Worth every penny!! Install was a pretty simple. I used the chains during a blizzard:-) we had 14 inches of snow plus some icy spots. These chains made me completely unstoppable. Definitely two thumbs up:-)
Chains fit like a glove and just took a few minutes to install. I’ve never installed chains before and was worried that they might shift on the tire. Not so with these.

These chains are worth every penny. Female here, had never used chains before. I was able to get these on my SUV on a mountain pass in 5 minutes. Just watched the instructional videos and practiced installing them before I actually needed them. The road was pretty icy/snowy and I had good traction the whole way and kept my speed at 30 - 35mph. I'd buy these again.
Also shout out to etrailer customer service. UPS misdelivered my package and the folks in the customer service department were very quick to respond and open a claim for me. They were even willing to ship a replacement out (fortunately mine were found though). All around good purchase from a good company.

Jenny N - 01/12/2022I have only put these chains on in my garage, so this is not really a full review. The chains were delivered promptly and were easy to install in ideal conditions. How they work in real life, I don't know. One minor complaint - the "gloves" that are advertised as being included are actually thin plastic bags with fingers. Not sure how useful they would be in cold snowy conditions.
Ordered for my Ford Transit 250. Arrived in two days. Brand new packaging as expected and all parts present. Will be using them this winter. They communicated order acceptance, shipping and arrival. Pleased with the whole thing.

Fast delivery! I practiced putting chains on in our home garage and it was a great fit and easy installation. Very important, since putting on in snow will add more difficulty. Quality of chains looks excellent compared to chains I have purchased for other vehicles in past.
