Features to know about

Built for Heavy Loads and Longevity: Load Range C with 1,045-lb Capacity at 80 psi

The Kenda K353 Bias Trailer Tire (5.30-12) is designed for serious hauling confidence. With a 6-ply rating and Load Range C construction, it supports up to 1,045 lbs at 80 psi on a 12" x 4" wheel. It meets and exceeds DOT standards for road use while offering reliable performance even when loaded to capacity.

Smooth Handling on Rough Ground: Durable Bias-Ply Construction

This tire’s nylon cords are set at a 30–45° angle in alternating layers, creating a tough crisscross pattern that stiffens the sidewalls and helps the whole tire flex evenly. That means smoother handling and better control when towing over uneven ground or gravel roads, without the soft, squirmy feel of lighter carcass tires.

Confidence on Every Trip: 65-mph Speed Rating with Heat-Resistant Design

Rated up to 65 mph (Speed Rating J), the Kenda K353 holds steady at highway speeds without overheating. Its bias construction resists heat buildup under heavy load so you can keep moving mile after mile without worrying about premature wear or blowouts from running hot.

Ready for Hard Use and Backed by Warranty

Built to exceed Department of Transportation standards, the K353 includes a 5-year limited warranty plus a 1-year worry-free guarantee—if it’s damaged within the first year, it’s replaced at no charge. It’s made to take abuse on or off the pavement and keep rolling season after season.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Seems to be a decent quality product. No complaints.

by:

Just like others these tires arrived quickly and correctly. I took them down to a local tire shop and paid them a few dollars to mount them. To me, it was worth it. I moved up from a 4.8 tire to this one. It is a little taller, wider and more substantial. Load went from 950 to 1045 per tire so I figured it would be a little better and last a little longer. Haven't tried them on the highway yet but I'm sure they are going to be fine. I rec'd a lot of help from customer service with various questions about going up a little bigger in size and other questions. They were very helpful. I would recommend etrailer to anyone needing a tire. Thanks guys

The moment this tire arrived I couldn't help but admire how round it was. Additionally noted how crisp and clean each groove of tread was. It was like this tire was hand carved by a Japanese craftsman. A true work of art. As I gazed upon it I immediately realized I could never put it into service on my trailer and instead hung it in my living room as a centerpiece. It has hung in my living room for 11 months now stunning passers by daily. Of course there is the opposite end of the spectrum - those who criticize my decoration strategy. Obviously... the latter individuals are banned from my home forever. Upon deep reflection it is surprising how many relationships this tire has cost me. What do they know? Who do they think they are? Of course the real issue here is that my trailer is still not operational and I still need a tire. Quite the conundrum I face. What would you do?

by:

Tires are now working very well on my pontoon boat trailer. Have never been partial to radial tires for trailers, so these are not as bouncy/mushy, especially for a heavier pontoon boat. The stiffer construction works much better than radials. The valve stems were also very easily installed and also work very well. Overall, very satisfied with the quality of the tires and the valve stems. Would definitely recommend these products to a friend.

by:

I purchased Kenda 6 ply tires for a couple of trailers about a year ago and I've been happy with both sets. I've put plenty of miles on one trailer since I use it to haul my fishing boat. No problems at all. No flats, no rotting - tires look like new. I recommend these tires to all my fishing buddies. Any time spent on fixing a flat means less time fishing!

by:

Tires work great! Went cross country with them from California to Michigan. Had a loaded up utility trailer being pulled by a loaded up Ford Ranger. The tires did just as well in the desert as they did in the mountains and in rain. They sat outside on the trailer through a Michigan winter then worked like new in the spring on a trip down to North Carolina. Expected wear, with no dry rotting or anything. Highly recommend these tires.

I recently received my order from e-trailer. I ordered a Dexstar wheel, a pair of Kenda tires, a chrome when center cap, lug nuts and screw in studs. I read all the pertinent info supplied as well as check exactly the brands, sizes etc of the parts I was replacing. I was notified by email (from Phyllis) the day following the order placement that their was a shipment delay of the tires, I was supplied with equivalent tire replacements which could have been supplied to keep the order on time or wait a week and get exactly what I originally ordered. I waited and received everything faster then I thought it would have taken. Phyllis kept me updated every couple days on the order progress- so nice! I was a little unsure if the screw in studs would fit but ordered what seemed to be the best match (had to start somewhere & figured I could return if no fit) and studs and lugs fit as stock- exact matches. This was my 2nd order in two years and have had great customer service and better then stock replacement parts, certainly all for a cheaper price then I could ever find in NW Montana! Thank You all at e-trailer!

by:

etrailer.com has again done an excellent job. I needed three trailer tires and they had them for a good price and delivered them promptly. I've gone to etrailer.com three times now for different things and received just what I wanted each time. Keep up the good work!

The tires are still rolling along just fine a year after purchase and I continue to like etrailer.com

by:

Just bought the Kendra tires for my lawn trailer, have them mounted but haven't had chance to use them yet. I will say however that I have never had a more pleasant sales transaction.
It was easy, efficient, the price was very good and I was kept informed of my order status throughout the process. I.placed my order on Wednesday and had my tires the following Monday . I will use e-trailer again and would recommend them to my friends.

Thank you for having Kenda brand trailer tires. I shopped around for a replacement set, only to find frightening prices, or zero stock. This is the second set I ordered from you with speedy service. The second set was even in a bigger box (no squishing).

Great I like Kendas! Always consistent quality and sizes. I see questions concerning PSI. I vary my PSI depending if Im trailering full, or empty. Empty, 80 PSI will have it traveling on the center of the tire on a light motorcycle trailer with lots of bouncing around. I bring the pressure down to 40 PSI and watch the contact pattern on that particular trailer, and adjust as necessary.

@Terri That works just fine, but don't forget to air them back up when the trailer's full...

by:

Although the tires are excellent, squishing two of them into an undersized box is now going to require wooden block spacers and a couple of days in the sun to get all the warpage out of them so the beads can seat. Not very pleased about that. Use a bigger box next time, or two boxes. Free shipping can't be costing you that much.

After a sit in the sun, the tires finally regained their shape, and have been working great!! I love Kendas, even on my vehicles.

by:

Everything went great

by:

Awesome products with great service and delivery. I will be ordering again soon. Thank you etrailer!!!

by:

The tires were perfect and have lasted just fine and the 1/2" rod for the stabilizers was exactly what was needed.

by:

Order came in quickly & product looks way better than the flimsy tires we order for our trailer from another company. The last tires both blew out on our first trip in our camper. Will post more after we travel in a few weeks on these.

by:

The tires showed up far more deformed than even a bias ply tire should, and it took the shop quite a bit of time to mount them. Then ended up having to expand then with innertubes and set them out in the sun all day.

Why the four star review, then? I paid a fortune to have them arrive overnight, and etrailer made it happen (orders from other vendors have arrived late even when paying extra for fast shipping). Also, when I left a voicemail with etrailer to express my disappointment, I received a call back within minutes and was assured that if the tires could not be installed that they would make it right.

by:

My tires are brand new, so I can't really tell you about longevity, but my transaction with etrailer was nice and shipping was faster than stated.

by:

Have towed about 500 miles with no problems.
Not
5 stars do to not knowing longevity yet. Installed on my boat trailer with 16’ fiberglass center console boat as load. Tires run smooth and quiet.

by:

Product is exactly what I needed. Customer service was excellent!

by:

Replaced my 35+ years-old 4.80-12 trailer tires, thank God I never had a blowout at speed, but the sidewalls were dry-rotted bad enough to get new ones for safety.
I switched to the Kenda K353 5.30-12 LR C tires so I don't need to worry about weight limit on my trailer.
Haven't towed it more than a few miles, but it feels great w/ the newbies on the axle.

by:

these tires are twisted very bad.I hope they can be mounted on the wheel. If not you will here from me.After seeing these these tires I read the reviews and see I'm not alone.WHY ?

by:

Very Good! I would recommend eTrailer to a friend. Only issue is that tires arrived smashed into a small cardboard box which made seating to bead and airing up very difficult. May not be eTrailers fault, but definitely something that needs to be more clearly stated prior to purchasing along with suggestions to make mounting easier.

Still holding up great after 1 yr and about 800 miles.

by:

I have towed my trailer 3 times going to the delta. The tires are great, working well

by:

Had Kendra tires on my boat trailer, just 10 years of good service without any issues of dry rot checking. etrailer shipped tires with date coded same year as purchased. Tires were shipped in a box, no deforming of tires making it difficult to mount. Very satisfied.

  • What Pressure Should Trailer Tire Rated at 80 PSI Max be Inflated to
Trailer tires should be inflated when they are cold and should be inflated to the max psi rating on the sidewall. In your case you would want to run 80 psi. If you don't inflate them to the max psi figure you will lose weight capacity and potentially cause the tires to overheat and fail.
